Thats nothing, visit www.ppcwarez.org and you dont have to pay for anything. The first app you should look for and install is Resco Explorer. This will make installing apps much easier.

it seems like if iphone used this phone's concept and Sony released a phone that is exactly like the iphone now, that iphone would would be better just because its from Apple according to ppl on here. Im not working for Apple so I dont care about how it is from a business standpoint, I care about it for personal usage.
I don't know. It sells pretty well in Europe. Maybe they thought it would be useless trying to snatch any of the US market with the iphone right arond the corner.

I use Spb Pocket Plus now, the latest version. I dont mess with Spb Mobile Shell though. Those icons are from the iphone set. I use those too. Thats a hot theme.

There might be a world of iPhone hype out there, but if there's anything Microsoft knows how to do, it's fight back with sheer brutal volume -- and it looks like the WinMo juggernaut is just getting warmed up, with sales of 14.3M units worldwide in the past six months. Microsoft says the strong performance is based on sales of over a million BlackJacks and over two million HTC Touch phones, and that it expects to hit 20M WinMo phones sold by June. That's an awful lot of phones -- and with even hotter models on the way, we wouldn't expect to see these numbers slow down anytime soon.

I'm very familiar with Windows Mobile... I had a Mogul and now own a Touch. I've done sooooo many custumization to my Touch.
I was a WM fanboy until the other day at work I tried to play music /via AD2P, which I do everyday. But this day my phone decides to show a hour glass non-stop... and then nothing works, no touch screen or anything. I soft-resetted the phone for about 15 times. Finally, after a little technique, I got it to work. I was really avoiding hard resetting since I haven't backed-up the device in awhile.
Now, I'm like fuck WM devices. If the iPhone v2 fits all my needs, bye bye HTC.

Sony Ericsson has plumped up its Walkman line just a tad today with the introduction of the W980, a pretty well power-packed flip sporting 8GB of internal storage, a generously sized external display, and something the company calls "Walkman on Top." The technology (if you can really call it that) replicates the music player interface in its entirety on the external display, allowing full player control without popping the phone open. Other goodies include an FM transmitter and PlayNow support -- a Walkman phone through and through, if we do say so ourselves. Look for it to launch in Q3 in quadband EDGE flavor with HSDPA 2100 (read: no good for use in the US). Sorry about the microscopic photo, by the way, SE's site is having difficulty at the moment.

Sony has made some of the best phones in the last few years. The UI is great and keeps evolving. The problem is that they have chose sound quality over volume and their best phones are Eurpoean. The walkman phones are loud enough to hear someone.
The ones AT&T carries aren't even their top of the line phones .
