Let's keep the discussion going ya'll.
CT.. I want to thank you for taking an interest and being a part of the enlightenment struggle. In fact, I want to thank all who usually participate in these type of thought provoking self evaluating insightful threads... the information has to go out and regardless of the nay sayers, we hold the line...
I have come to realize that the issue is not getting the information out, its accepting it. One doesn't want at trauma, one doesn't want to look back at what we went through to get to this point, one likes to hold on to petty squabbles and traumas done to them by the representative of their race and not those before who formed their opinion, their mindset, their path, their onda
Even in realtime, they could only see to the tip of their fingers and nothing beyond... they see the shadows which brought them up called parents and hold their prejudices and grudges for what was done and perpetuate it.
It was better to see your enemy on the other side during segregation, you could see their movements and best respond to their attacks, like when they called some feeble minded and forcefully sterilize them, or run radiation experiments on black youths' heads to create craters in their cranium, or when the american eugenics society spearheaded contraceptions and then abortion to be used against blacks which the blacks called it at that time 'black genocide' no, that was simpler to see as a chalkline on a blackboard...
Now we are integrated, again we get a my bad from the government for their treatment (slavery... but unsure how much the seminole wars played into the confederate loss from fighting a multi-prong attack.... seminole== runaway (slave)).
Even now as they see racists on television heckling you with kind smiles and at times not so kind expressions, they have 'slipped' and called say something not make you realize that we are not treated equally.
Don't get me started on white women, the ones which gain every single resource and advantage in this damn country and still calling foul.. for the mere insult of being called a minority they should have to submit to daily dick sucking and pussy eating chores forever for their manipulations. Their men treated them like cattle and gave them all the resources, had us as chattel and gave us their ass to kiss with a handshake, a smile, and a bible.

It's sad that most of our folks will readily skip over a thread about something as important as this, the thread about the Garvey documentary, and other things about our history. Cats will flood the ones about who someone is dating though. Anyway, I hate to see this one die. I will keep trying to bump it and spread the info Dr. Joy presented. If nothing else it's a look in to the black psyche in America. Something that might open a few eyes and make people stop and think. There is a wealth of information, entertainment, and conversation on this board. It's fun and interesting in many ways, but sometimes we need to be serious and put our thinking caps on. Black people were great in the past. He have had many traumatic experiences since our first (forced) interaction with whites. Now we are damaged and have lost our way. If we can ever get it back together individually and collectively we will once again be great. There are too many smart and talented brothas and sistas out there for us to be average as a group...

People are so set to moving forward with something new in this post racial [lmao] world... which is an affront to everything which has been done or said. There can only be a nation without it with adequate dialogue or separation, and since dialogue is not adequate because no one speaks on it or if tamahu do... we have 'The Help'. We even have threads on this board where we actually discussing the lunacy of having a male child dress up as a female and think its funny, that is the response... enabling asses. You are the adults, the parents, how the fuck is that cool a male child dressed as a female? Shit is dispicable when an adult does that shit but cute on a child?
Then on top of that, a debate whether we as a people should be mentoring our own children... merely asking the question, what assinine thinking is it to have to say you won't mentor a child because the father is not in the picture? Don't you think because the father is NOT in the picture is a good time to ensure THAT child is mentored?
I do understand the pain in dealing with single parents, hell, even some with two parents are fucked if the parents themselves are still immature idiots. We as a people have a combined knowledge which we must bestow on our youth, everything which we know... the reason for this is because... its not doing you a thing of good keeping it to yourself. Remember, this monetary exchange for knowledge bullshit came with european thought to act as a line of separation between the knowledgeable elites and the ignorant masses... another byproduct of the Roman Catholic Church from the dark ages... after Moors enlightened the filthy masses to take showers, educate yourself, and stop slepping with farm animals in your home.

Thanks for the response Deacs. One of our biggest problems as a people is we are selfish. There are plenty of black folks with incredible knowledge,information, money, and other resources, etc. but many want to keep those things to themselves. The key to education is sharing. Learn something, and teach it to someone else. Seek knowledge and then pass it along when you can. We've got to stop competing with each other and compete with each other...Think about it...
