Something black folks need to see...

You mean since I posted the clips, the request was finally honored to combine it? Cool.

Are we ready to talk about it yet people?

lol Some cac 1 starred your thread boo.

Yeah. That's some shit ain't it? Trying to keep this info from the people. It's OK though. You can't hide the truth forever...

Yeah...I hope the people are ready to watch and discuss this. Dr. Joy broke it all the way down. I know it's late here on the East, but people better not "sleep" on this...

Trust, when I looked at this it made me literally sit down and reflect... hard.

I'll begin my portion here

What people don't want to understand is that it is ok to let things go and move on, but at least heal from the trauma which we haven't. In not one way we as a people dealt with it because how it makes other races feel, all the while we are suffering from conditioned traumatic responses.... I will raise my hand and say I have hurt people from staring too long in my youth, I could say as a first generation american that I was taught to believe in the superiority of their culture over my own and cling to their ideals of a equality on paper and not in practice. I have seen the discourse which happens when you bring it up... hell, even when after I was done in the military and went to university I still seen how it's discussed.
While I was in one of the theology courses @ Fordham, a jewish aspiring film producer said that 'we live in a society without racism but people were still anti-semetic'.... after I tore into his so called Jew ass and the instructor, and the rest of the lilly white classmates which got uncomfortable and didn't say shit... their cognitive dissonance and the SCJ badge of false pride for their burnt offering called a holocaust.

This is only part of it though. This board has a gift and a curse, because in the web of threads which we discuss our issues and traumas, the crimes and manipulations of our image, the indirect and direct tactics used by the government against us, the nurturing of a culture by nonblack enterprises used to further muddy the waters and destroy our families... we post and discuss the micro issues of the problem, but when we attempt to place it together, the conditioning kicks in and we defend them by blaming ourselves. Although its the individual who chooses to act, someone had to create the circumstances leading to the choices made or how did it develop... we are taught not to look in our past and reflect, from the dark continent, to slavery, to the era of eugenical tactics and wholesale accepted murder and torture, fleecing of our resources in their help to us, etc.

"And this jazz about Post Traumatic Slave trauma is the silliest concept I've ever come across. The idea that 150 to 200 years, after a certain condition, that we are somehow still slaves is ridiculous. What is slavery? Genetic? Even during slavery, not everyone fit into that category. There were more than 250 slave revolts (involving 10 or more slaves) in North America alone. The idea of a passive slave is nonsense. There is not one recorded incident of a so-called brainwashed slave who volunteered to remain a slave for master, because he loved him so well. So where does all this bullshit come from? It comes from overpaid, "overeducated" niggas who are saying what white folks want to hear. Then, they will come into the community. They don't live here. You pay them 7000 dollars. They come in here and tell us how tough we got it. When, in fact, they got more on their back than I make in a month. You got a whole new slave propaganda. The true slaves are the one talking this shit. Particularly, if they believe it. Sometimes, I want to slap that bitch (Joy DeGruy)."

He missed the whole point... yes there were slave revolts, yes we fought from the slave trade to the seminole wars... but that is only revolting against an overseer which always will happen with sentient life. She didn't say we were still slaves, or thinking as slaves think.
This deals with the internal and psychological changes which our people underwent since slavery.. like being shell shocked from war, his old ass should know better, white people only talk about slavery to say that it is over while kissing zionist ass for their burnt suffering...

More irritated at how the question was asked him for in it was still placing blame on the black man in a state which he truly held no power... and that's not the reason for male infidelity either, slaves were married by their masters to promote not only religion but also dispersing anger and fear.

Man, you broke it down. This is what Dr. Joy was saying. As both you and her said, black folks are conditioned to ignore our own issues because of how it will make others feel. The seeds are planted so deep, we don't even realize them. It's (now) in our nature to protect others, while harming ourselves...

Funny how this thread got 1 star and 345 views, but the thread referencing a gay football player in a love fight has over 900 views. What the fuck is happening to BGOL?

More "Captain Obvious" bullshit.

WE ALREADY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS.

WHAT ARE THE SOLUTIONS?

We only discussed a portion of it and never as a populace and never without intrusion... we never gathered all the evidence of the acts used against us since most are still engorged in the ills of their conditioning and culture...

Here in Fayetteville we have a DJ called Russ Par which leads a morning show.. on one show he had a former dealer on the show who wrote a book (name unimportant, sounded like a rube ) and was going in on the fact that his actions hurt his community... the advertisement for that moment was for payday advance loans which are there to rape before you get paid... they only see the degradation they want to see and not all of it.

You are a staple in this board... you see this here, the poisons which we accept and those we vehemently oppose.

The solutions come once we agree on the problems, or at least be less problematic

My solution for education is simple, create schools only for our kids with a modified or accurate scholastic genres in history, the sciences, liberal and physical arts, with no inkling of religion (that's the parents job, not the school, its year round fuck holidays, you take your child out he misses a lesson) make it K12, don't want my kids fucking around with the public school ones.
With this we have 2 working models, one in harlem, other in dc

The other is simple.... destroy all negative parts of hip hop or the entire culture... stop accepting anything or purchase anything of or go to watch any artist which is not bringing positive change to the community and their recordings...

We need more scientists, engineers, builders, and educators, we need more cogs and gears in our own communities

We need more business owners, back to the pre integration time levels, we need these in our communities while burning those who funnel money out of it down.... fuck them and.let them claim insurance....

Integration created a veil for the enemy of us... which is not all non whites, but they are looking out for their people while we want to have fingers in someone else's pie, to be one with a people which don't accept you.

This require thought and reflection....

Poking at dude with the jacked up face and his roommate millionaire football player is funny

there is no such thing as post traumatic slavery syndrome, and no thinking person believes in it either. the only people who use it are these ambulance chasing savage opportunists trying to capitalize on race issues...

this "syndrome" first came about because a black psychologist was trying to understand why his young son was so afraid of police...

but an overwhelming majority of the psychology community laughs at this notion that black people in the 21st century, are still haunted and affected by slavery...

Only those who are ready to listen will. Those who are ready to understand will. You've got alot of people still covering up their eyes and ears trying to figure out why their lives are like they are, and you've got the master sitting on their shoulder directing them.

In every revolution of thought you're going to have people who are going to say, "no no no, don't raise any cane....don't cause trouble....sit back...shut up..."

Deacs you can't get everyone, you can't get the whole to agree on things like this because the roots of yt go DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP in their consciousness. You've got to try to seperate black people from yt's religion. Separate people from yt's food. From yt's workforce.

All of those things combined. It's a biggggggggggggg mountain to traverse over to get peoples THOUGHTS to change. People who watch this kind of vid and think about it will be few i think. People who watch this vid and then actually DO anything? Maybe 1 - 2. Granted those 1 - 2 are wonderful. But honestly....what's that against millions?

One of the things i found most interesting about the vid was Dr. Joy speaking on the black woman's mistrust of the black man. That's something i really didn't think of until recently, about why i really don't inherently trust ANY of them. My husband was 100x's different from most black males i meet. He even stands out amongst his own family.

Last week i started going back to my community center. And 1 of the little girls said her mama told her that never to trust no man....be independent and do for herself, and the only thing a man can give her is his mUNey....

Babygirl was like 8. I think 8...yeah. So right there is where you start. She's got her mother, her GOD implanting these thoughts in her head. At 8. And then she's got this media. My daughters bestfriend loves this show called TeenMom? Or something i forget the name, Pregnant at 16? And on everyone of those episodes the guys "leave" the females. What's the lesson to learn here? You get pregnant the guy will leave. So when the girl gets involved herself with a guy in this day and age she's not going to trust him.

She's not going to trust him to work, to take care of her and the baby. She doesn't trust none of these guys to take care of their child. Granted....they SHOULDN'T. But this is what they're being taught.

Before we were slaves we didn't have this problem. The issue isn't exactly slavery man it's the problems that occurred during and after slavery psychologically.

Legacy, I don't want their agreements, I want their discussions... as long as there is talk, there are thoughts on the subject... words are seeds to be planted and sprout once understanding or experience follows, if you get people talking about the issues at hand it will stick further...

In actuality, any type conditioning change requires one generation, and since we don't control the tools, it won't happen... it takes a black sword and shield together.. and without that forget it...

If I had the resources, I would open an orphange/childrens home and save them instead.

Ok... let's put it to the test...
what is the line of origin of your clan? What is their name? What is their rank at council and place in the community? Who are your Spirits? What is your song?

Since the trade, which path did they take? Was it to europe first or through south america or the carribean? Who are your family's slavers? Do they have a family seal? When brought to the states, any clan left? Any names saved? Who were you mixed with?

Why would I care what a whole society of white bases psychological thought? Don't I have enough from their culture, language, tactics, and history to know that systematically they destroyed and terrorized my people? At least in slavery we had value so no mass killing was adopted... after slavery we were strange fruit on a tree... without dick, or with it in our mouths as they cooked us.

It is a sin to believe centuries of terrorism are.cleaned up since 1965...

One of my husbands dreams was to open an all boys school here. He didn't believe in the separatist ideals that have been bred into us. He didn't see that child as your kid, their kid. He saw all kids as his, and all kids belonged to the community and therefore all kids were the communities responsibility.

He started the idea for mentoring around here. He started going to kids he saw in the streets and then to their parents. He'd always tell me, you've got to start somewhere.

I still think in a way, we did a disservice to our kids because i believe they'll be just overwhelmed by what's out there. It's like you teach your kid to use a fork and every other kid they run into uses a spoon. And then when they grow up they'll be the only person using a fork. And how damned lonely and outcast they'll be.

Very good questions to ask Mr. Deacs.

- bruh, those are more philosophical and intellectual questions about self awareness that are yes, very valid...

but being a functional member of society has nothing to do with this.

whether or not somebody **KNOWS** the origin of themselves or not, has no bearing on how they carry out their lives.

this is my only point...surely you agree with this.
