I wouldn't bother with ANY 12 volt tool.

A little or a lot of use, I'd get the 20 volt...you can't go wrong.
Yeah but those tend to be bigger and heavier. This old house had a episode about drills, and you can get the majority of work done on a a construction zone with a 12v except when it comes to heavy jobs like drilling in a hard concrete.

I guess so.

I just like to buy the right shit, the first time and not regret buying it later.

I remember back in the day we used to ride motorcycles and someone would say they were going to buy a 350 or something midrange in size. I would ALWAYS warn them to buy something bigger and they would say something like 350 is big enough.

After riding it for less than a month, they'd be trading it in for the 750 or 1100 I suggested in the first place!

I just try to buy the shit that's going to satisfy ALL of the jobs and not just the light and moderate.

Someone recommend a cordless drill.

Also can all drills be used to screw screws in?

Thanks

And probably in that order... If you're just doing light handy work around the house stay within the $100-$150 entry range and its all you need.

No..the new 20 volt shit is light....brah

i got a lightweight black and decker and it works fine for me. I basically only use it for household shit like putting up curtains, mounting tvs. If it's a heavyweight job, I doubt i'll be fucking with it.

*edit*

If i get a new one for any reason, I'll probably follow killagram's advice

I just discovered the impact wrench. I can save 20 minutes changing my brakes with those suckers. I did my own wheel bearings last weekend. Me!

They come in real handy and saves tons of time in rotating your own tires and changing mower blades. Man!
