SOME HOE ASS NIGGAS RIGHT HERE!!

Wrong. Once you start kicking someone in the head, in some states, that can be viewed as felonious assault /attempted murder.

Did he warn her what was going to happen, yes.

Was she wrong for throwing the drink at him, yes.

Did he have a legal right to "defend" himself, sure.

But the extent of his retaliation was overkill. Whether that was a man or woman. She was down and then he kicked her in the face and slapped/punched her some more. That was the line too far regardless of the victim's gender.
Shit, she kept going. She kept fighting. If you are continuing fighting then your ass is not done. You stop when the threat stops.

Knowing a camera is on you and your embarrassing moments are going to be posted online changes things these days people are going to go extra. Don't take things to a physical level if you don't want that reaction.
That’s the thing I don’t believe people from Generation X truly understand about the younger generation.

She was trying to stand up possibly even defend herself as he was slapping her and she was on the ground. She was definitely trying to stand when he kicked her in the face amd both of her hands were on the ground......
Once she got up she did attempt to move towards him, but he then swiftly knocked her to the ground again.

She was noticeably drunk, dont argue with drunk people. Hardly ever does that result in good outcomes.

My point wasn't to defend the guy. I think what he did was wrong and he did overdo it by continuing to fight her when she was down and she clearly did not present herself as a threat to him. I'd feel the same if it was a guy who he was able to knock down and dominate so easily. The kick to the head had potential, but wasn't that damaging. She was able to continue to fight back and get up. My point was more related to focusing on the woman being the victim because she is a woman.

No, I don't subscribe to that. Women can be some of the biggest abusers. Every body has a right to defend themselves.

In this case, we both agree ole boy went beyond defense.

Women are not inferior physically or emotionally. Some women are. As a whole, we are stronger, but we are the dumb ones. Women are crafty people, because they got men believing that they are weaker but they are the stronger of the two. Women circle most of our asses everyday. Women are a helluva a lot smarter than men. They got men thinking they are weaker, and we pay for everything. They got us working the shit out of ourselves. We work until we are dead, and they expect this of us. Get mad at you when you don't and will say that you ain't a man because you ain't doing it. LOL There are some women out here will give the best of us a go for our money. They may not have the brute physical strength, some of them got that too, but they have cunning. A helluva a lot of that. Frankly, they run the world and they do not hold half of the political offices or are the bosses of the biggest companies. They might not be the leadership, but they sure run it. They run it at the office and at home. If you have live long enough, you will know this. So, I say that women are getting beside themselves. Back in the day, it would take a lot for a women to fight a man. The man had to be the one initiating it. Now, if a woman don't like how you look at them, you might get slapped in the face. So, since it is like this, I will beat that ass without question. We give women a break because of what it used to be. Its not like that anymore. The times and the rules have changed.

I very much disagree.
First of all, men are physically stronger than women. You cannot present any scientifically based argument to the contrary. You claim that women are "a helluva a lot smarter than men" because men choose to work more. I believe this is more due to it being in mens' nature to be providers than women outsmarting us. In fact, women are fighting to no longer be provided for and instead get out there and work themselves. Women are even arguing to work hard jobs that many aren't physically built for. As far as emotions, most men that live with and/or raise women will agree that women are much more emotional than men.

What's wrong with that, y'all mad at women for getting special treatment?

Not exactly. IMO men should not be beating on women. We are superior physically and emotionally. It is our duty to provide for and protect our woman. It is also our duty to understand that we are physically dominant and that women are emotionally unpredictable so it is our responsibility to show a higher level of restraint with them than a man. It is also a women's responsibility to understand that we are physically dominant and to respect that we have to exhibit higher levels of restraint. A part of this is to stop pretending that we are equals. Women should understand why our sports teams get paid more than theirs. Because we are physically superior. Why there isn't equal representation is many careers. Because we are physically superior. We can't all pretend like we are equals and expect unequal consequences.

It ain't men's nature. Its men's training to be providers. Men are trained by a system that want you to conform. However, women are more smarter than us. That's a proven fact. If it wasn't life as we know it would not be. Women, in part, make us conform. They are a lot smarter.

However, women are more smarter than us. That's a proven fact.
Post the proof. Are disabled people smarter than us? Are people on public assistance smarter than people who work? In every animal species I can think of,except lions, the males to most of the hunting and fighting. The women give birth and nurture the babies.

Where are you getting this shit from? Who said it is our duty to do anything? Where is this written? And, if it is written, then who wrote it? Then, because we don't show emotions, that mean we are more emotionally developed than women. Wouldn't that be the opposite? Because they are able to express there emotions then their emotional growth is not stunted. Let's say this, we need each other. You can't have man without woman or woman without man. We need each other. Nonetheless, women are smarter because they have had us provide for them. You say all that you say is because you were trained this way. Before the industrial revolution, women work just as hard and did the same jobs that men did. It was the Victorian period when we started having women stay at home and shit. This prime and proper shit is from the 19th century and ain't very old. You see, the system has us doing shit we don't even know were it come from.

  • Global IQ Scoring: Landmark research by late IQ expert James Flynn analyzed international data and found that women scored marginally higher on standardized IQ tests in countries like Argentina, Estonia, and New Zealand, driven by narrowing historical gaps and greater educational access. [1, 2]
  • Confidence and Decision Making: A study from Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business demonstrated that women outperformed men in complex, high-risk intelligence testing by more accurately knowing when to be confident versus when to recognize difficult tasks. [1, 2]
  • Emotional and Social Intelligence: Extensive data from sources like TalentSmart and general psychological meta-analyses indicate that women score statistically higher in emotional intelligence (EQ)—specifically in social awareness and empathy. [1, 2]
  • Specific Cognitive Tasks: Research published in journals like Cortex notes that while men often excel in certain spatial rotation tasks, women consistently outperform men in tasks requiring sustained attention control, inhibition, and verbal fluency. [1, 2]

Your claim overstates the case. Women have always performed essential economic labor, but they rarely did the same jobs as men. Across Europe, Asia, and Africa, labor was often divided by gender rather than shared equally. In African societies, women were major agricultural producers and dominated local markets and trade, while men more often hunted, herded livestock, cleared land, or fought in warfare. The Victorian ideal of the stay-at-home, middle-class housewife was a relatively recent and influential cultural model, but it did not erase older gender divisions of labor.

Nah men need to be men regardless of the situation. If a fag roll up on you you gonna be a fag with him?

Men should only fight people they consider a threat. If you consider a woman a threat you a bitch.
There are exceptions to this. If she's got a gun, a switchblade, or any object that could kill someone, then she's a threat.

The people who are on public assistance is a lot smarter than us. We shouldn't be working anyway. At least not your whole life. Because the males in most species do the most hunting, and wouldn't say fighting, don't mean that female species don't hunt. Mother bears, wilderbeest, etc, female hunt or grasshunt for their young. Yet, we talking about humans, and women got your ass working and its not the way it suppose to go.

I have AI too. These studies had very small sample sizes. We both know that public pressure prevents any studies showing men to be superior. Either way, I'm ok with us agreeing to disagree.

I totally disagree with your argument. In every indigenous society women did the same jobs as the men. Hunt and gather, everything we did. The demarcation of gender roles begin after the agricultural revolution and still up until the 19th century women did the same jobs as men. That is even fighting in wars.

Yeah we disagree on a philosophic level. We are so far apart that I don't think either of us can present an argument to where we will agree.

You asked for proof. I gave you proof. Small studies or not, women are smarter than us. You must be young. Every old dude will tell you this. If you can get someone to pay you to do nothing, then who is smarter? It ain't us.

It ain't philosophy, its training. Your training is so strong you can't see the forrest for the trees.

Here are 20 well-documented societies where men and women generally had different primary roles, even though both contributed substantially to the economy. These examples span hunter-gatherer, pastoral, horticultural, and agricultural societies.

Important exceptions

If someone claims "women did exactly the same jobs as men in every indigenous society," anthropology does not support that. However, there are societies with unusually flexible gender roles:
  • Agta (Philippines): Women regularly hunt large game.
  • Martu (Australia): Women frequently hunt small game such as goannas.
  • Aka (Central Africa): Fathers spend exceptionally high amounts of time caring for infants.
  • Mbuti: Men and women both participate in communal net hunts.
These are often cited because they depart from the more common pattern.

Cross-cultural evidence

The strongest evidence comes from large comparative studies rather than individual ethnographies:
  • George P. Murdock & Caterina Provost (1973) analyzed 185 societies and found consistent sex specialization in labor, though the specific tasks varied.
  • Murdock's Ethnographic Atlas (over 1,200 societies) documents widespread gender-based divisions of labor across cultures.
  • Carol Ember and colleagues found that while women's and men's contributions varied greatly, specialization by sex was nearly universal.
  • Marlowe (2007), reviewing hunter-gatherers worldwide, concluded that women occasionally hunted but men overwhelmingly specialized in large-game hunting.
The anthropological consensus is therefore not that women "stayed home" or contributed less—they often contributed as much or more to subsistence—but that complementary specialization was far more common than identical job roles.

If I had time, I can go find you 20 were women did the same as men. Like most of society in those time. Even in the 20 cultures you presented. Women did some of the same jobs as men. There were no barriers to women work in men roles. This is a 18th and 19th century European thing that was spread across the world. Since you look that shit up, look up what I am telling you now.

  • Women occasionally fought in warfare.
  • Some societies (e.g., the Agta, Aka, Martu) were notably more egalitarian than others.

However, the anthropological consensus from cross-cultural datasets such as the Ethnographic Atlas, Standard Cross-Cultural Sample (SCCS), and D-PLACE is that some degree of labor specialization by sex was the norm rather than the exception. That is different from saying women did not work—they often contributed equally or even more to subsistence—but the evidence does not support the claim that men and women universally performed the same jobs across indigenous societies.

  • Women occasionally fought in warfare.
  • Some societies (e.g., the Agta, Aka, Martu) were notably more egalitarian than others. It was more so the above than this: Ethnographic Atlas, Standard Cross-Cultural Sample (SCCS), and D-PLACE is that some degree of labor specialization by sex was the norm rather than the exception.

Honestly, as drunk as she was...and how her body was just hanging out...she got off EASY.

It could have ended a lot worse for her.

Ladies...do not go out here getting sloppy drunk while looking like a whole slore....you may regret it for the rest of your life once you sober up.

This reminds me of that comedienne who woke up in bed with another comedian who was supposed to "help" her.

Situational awareness needs to be on 100% and that is not feasible if you are sloppy drunk.

Stop at "tipsy".

Yeah, but that's how A LOT of people end up in prison for years!!

That dude will be put on papers if he's ever caught.

That was complete over reaction to a woman throwing a drink on you. You must have some measure of control in your response!

Why do ya'll cats always mention "jail" in these situations? Threats about jail doesn't "un-beat her ass".
She shouldn't have tempted fate. She hit him because she believed "most men won't hit her", she learned that night, some men will.

BGOL use to always mention “jail” whenever dudes said they would beat a cac ass if they called them the n word and say it’s just a word and to fall back.. but when a dunk girl yapping her mouth , instead of bouncing from the situation, keep engaging her dumb shit, get hit with a cup, than unleash violence, you not worried about jail

True, a person can't......

But police and a Judge can.

There's lines between self defense and assault, simple battery and felonious assault, manslaughter and murder.

Once a dude says imma put hands on a female, he needs to walk away, other males need to separate them or she needs to walk away.

Not absolving her/ her actions..... but men, need to be men and have emotional/ physical intelligence as well.

thats how American dudes think.

That man is from Africa, totally different breed. Outside of the U.S. and Canada is the real world where natural law is in full effect, and the social norms of one culture don't mean shit to the rest of the world. Take Salaman Rushdie for example , dude was in a whole other non-Muslim country when he wrote the Satanic Verses, and even years after the Ayatollah died and Iran lifted the fatwa that fool Rushdie still got attacked. Now he is literally sleeping with one eye open, literally.

Was it unfortunate what happened to that girl, yes. But she was the one who poked a hornets nest. Ppl gotta take accountability for their actions, and quit aspecting the world to adhere to their views on life. That's literally the definition of entitlement.

As far as the kicking and shit, that beasty feline brought that on herself she enraged him which caused him to snap, by throwing a drink at him which could've damaged his retina. ice can cut your eyes like a blade. she lucky he didn't do a ground and pound.

lol that man chillin in lagos right now eating goat meat and fufu, no cares in the world.

Slightly different angle

Watching this again, the only thing excessive was the kick. Everything else, he cashed the check she wrote.

"If it were me", but it's not us. I think I would have reacted in a different way but there's no way for us to tell someone else how they should react when someone pushes them to 10.

Same with man vs man in that situation. I'd rather defuse the situation because you never know if a "bitch nigga" got a gun on them. You a bitch if you walk away but you could be dead if you don't. Very important lesson you learn as you get older and see how many lives have been ruined by not walking away or even putting yourself in that positionto begin with. Even if the answer to the disrespect was justified.
