Wait. Are you saying that "gravity" is due to the electrostatic force? So every object on the planet and every object gravitationally bound to the Earth, including the Moon, does so via electrostatics? Where is all this excess charge? Most objects are electrically neutral and we can measure this quite easily.

But for the sake of argument let's play along. Is the Earth negatively charged and every other object positively charged? If so everything would be attracted to the Earth but would be repulsed from each other. Every other object would be driven away from every other object. But once objects made contact with the Earth, the charges would tend to move in a way to achieve equalization and cancel. At the point you would have neutrally charged objects that would experience no force. In fact, it would be quite easy to make an anti-gravity device that cancelled out the electrostatic force. Lastly, where is the electrical discharge from all the charged masses. You think touching someone after rubbing your foot across a carpet in the winter gives you a nasty shock.

There is plenty of legitimate pushback to Einstein's theory. And yes, even though E = MC Ren was derived from relativity theory, later on in his life Einstein HIMSELF also derived it without relativity. And Michelson thought there should be a variation in the observed speed of a light beam's back and forth motion within the interferometer, which was supposed to be produced by the earth's forward motion during the period of transmission. The difference in light speed was supposed to produce a "fringe shift" in the interferometer, which was sensitive enough to detect it. But there was no effect. That "null result" fucked up the world of theoretical physics. And further, Michelson never even accepted relativity theory.

Cashie you googled strong, but you googled wrong.

Morely and Michelson were trying to prove the Earth moved through an aether. (Sound familiar?) The "null result" you talked about proved the speed of light was constant regardless of the motion of the Earth. So they actually proved the flat earth aether claim wrong.

And your point about E=MC2 being derived from relativity theory makes no sense. Einstein's works ARE relativity. First, special relativity proves that space and time are connected in one fabric he called spacetime and then general relativity proving that mass warps the fabric of spacetime. It's called relativity because events in time happen at different rates for different observers based on the speed they are traveling - hence time is relative.

And people can push back on it, but no one proves it wrong. The only variation is that the laws of physics act differently on a quantum level.

Einstein's work was so right, that it proved things he didn't believe or would conceive of. His math proves that black holes exist but he couldn't conceive of anything that powerful.
