To be fair his son probably saw the Omegas on the yard and thought I have nothing in common with them. He went Alpha and was probably strongly considering Kappa as well. He also probably thought them dark skin Omegas will beat the shit out my light skin ass. The truth is there are light skinned Omegas, but they heavily tend to be the darker skin brothers who like to wild out. There are two types of Omegas: Q-dawgs and Omega Men. Q-dawgs are the wild bunch who loves to party and fight and the Omega Men are the distinguished bunch. When he hit the yard as a freshman he probably did not see any Omega Men only Q-dawgs and was like I can't relate. I can speak on this because I went to a SWAC school and the politics are what they are.

I hope I was not brash in my assessment of how people view members of Omega Psi Phi. To be fair my pops is one and my mom is Delta Sigma Theta but I had little interest in joining. But pops was on that same shit your pops said. He was like "you can whatever frat you want", but don't come around my house with that Black/Gold, Red/White, and Blue/White shit. He was on some straight Warriors shit like when the Orphans asked them to drop their flags

Mayne alpha phi omega and iota whatever got my props than groove. On the yard we even had TAX, Gamma Alpha Xi. I had a potnah that quit Omega talk about it was affecting his grades and pledged that shit and is still embarrassed. I stopped fucking with him about it nearly 10 years ago but he still brings it up.
I ever been one to clown other people's chosen frat, but what the ruckus TAX?
Why would someone drop one line and think of going to that shit?
Life choices fam when you are young and dumb. I was either going to be a que or gdi. I knew this at a very early age. That TAX shit had a couple of lines that I knew of and most were cast offs from other Fraternity lines. They were as sad as you could imagine lol.
