I see a lot of comments about not going to Africa because of woods, or forests or whatever the hell.

First of all, Africa has every climate and topography that is present in the world. Not one set of woods was shown in this post and Africa is no different than America, some places you can go all the time and then there are others where when it's sundown, you best be at the crib.

I know a lot of it may be in jest or in fun but it shows the subtle ignorance we have allowed the majority to potray where our ancestors come from like it's inhabitable. Animals you don't want to see live in the city too: sewer rats, exotic escaped reptiles/cats, untrained dogs and bad ass kids with no home training.

I seen these pics 100's of times. The one on the truck is from eating a baby hippo. They said the one with the man is a fake and the other one is from a snake getting electrocuted on a fence after eating some animal on the farm trying to get out.

Those pics are fake. I don't doubt the viciousness of the African Rock Python, but the picss of the guy in the snake's stomach have been floating around the net for years. It is my belief that only anacondas and reticulated pythons are capable of swallowing a human. Cobras can get up to and over 20 feet, but they don't have the girth to swallow a human.

That really depends on the position of the human. A snake's jaws do not unhinge sideways, therefore; it wouldn't make it past the shoulders. If the person was laying on their side, there could be a chance. A slight one, but a chance none the less. Also keep in mind, a snake's jaw muscles are not powerful enough to collapse a human's collarbone, so a kid may be the only human that they could realistically swallow. Again, if the kid was in the right position.

It just depends on the type of python

I know plenty of people with Ball Pythons and they are fine

They don't get any larger than like 6 feet so that is manageable, plus they are calm

Other types are even smaller than that I beleive

it was only 5 feet....but still....that bitch was mean.
now my boas were 10 and 14 feet respectively....they never bit me or anyone else that held them.
