So Oregon has to travel to Auburn on their first Game? SEC never travels

It’s the playoffs they’ll cry for a neutral stadium somewhere warm .

 teams have no say where they play in the playoffs.

And have You Kats actually played football besides Pop Warner? Its not easy at all playing high level football at 85 90 100 degrees high humidity..... Give me a 40-50 degree game anyday over that shit plus while you're playing it doesnt even feel cold.

SEC has all the damn power they dictate where they want to play.

Heat > cold in terms of football

Give me the cold(not freezing) 38-50 any day over playing in 95 degrees that shit is not fun especially at the beginning of the season you lose 25% of the team to cramps, heat exhaustion in a bunch of other heat-related shit. I played in the heat in Kentucky and the cold in Pennsylvania during college...the heat is no cake walk like y'all are making it out to be.

And besides Ohio State and occasionally some other Big 10 school what good cold weather teams are there

Ohio State, MU and ND are the only good cold weather teams. Why would any fan want the elements to come affect those games?

Football is becoming extinct out on the West Coast at the collegiate level.

We still just pretending that USC is a big program, Washington was overated all along, Oregon has offense but no defense... PAC 12 not making no playoffs again.

There are domes all over the fuckin country. Theyve held Superbowls in Minneapolis, Detroit, Indianapolis, but the SEC is too good to play there??? Stop it. They ain't stupid and neither are you. Home field means something, especially when you're talking about 18-22 year olds. No, Bama ain't going to play Oregon st in Corvallis and losing, but Mississippi might. If teams are evenly matched then hell yes fan presence matters. That Washington/Auburn game was 90% Auburns crowd. It's more than who has to travel farther. Who you tryin to fool bruh???

man those stadiums you just named are way smaller than Jerry world and Atlanta. And the stadiums are the same distance. Hell Dallas is 11 hours from us driving which is the same as Detroit and Minnesota. Hell Indianapolis is only 6 hours. And none of those are out west.

Alabama beat Texas at the rose bowl. Auburn went west and fucked Oregon. Both were for the chip. So again what field do you want to play on

Fan support. Title games people are willing to travel. No Oregon/Washington fan is going east for an early season game. It's just a weekend's drive for SEC fans though. Which is why the crowd are always in their favor. Is it THE factor??? No. Is it A factor??? Hell yeah it is. Otherwise more SEC schools would schedule more home and homes, and less of these "neutral site" games that just so happen to be in their backyards. I'm not an SEC hater. I actually enjoy watching LSUs defense year I, year out despite being a Washington fan. But the SEC is on some bullshit with these neutral site games.

How come you don't hear these "cold weather schools" crying about why they don't come to play in November/December then? lol

You don't think both teams see an advantage by playing earlier in the season? C'mon now.

No college team plays in December the last week of the season is Thanksgiving. Conference chip is first sat in december.

That was in Arizona, it's hot as fuck in AZ

The point is Neutral site game locations are chosen to Benefit SEC teams. Warm and safe.

Homie... Where is Texas??? Where is Bama in reference to Texas??? Now point to where Oregon is... Who's overwhelmingly closer???

The argument isn't who the underdog is... Although... Other than the Cam Newton year, what does Auburn ever do??? Win 8 games a season??? They barely beat Washington last season in what was nothing more than a glorified home game for them. You really think if they played that game on the West coast that Washington doesn't win??? Clemson, Bama, LSU, UGA, Florida are big dogs, Auburn is just a team that plays in the SEC.

Fam. this is why I laugh when people make excuses for SEC teams shitty out of conference schedule. People try to make it seem like it's ok because the SEC schedule is so tough? Is it? Bama and UGA are elite. LSU and A&M a step below. UF on the way back. The rest? FOH. No excuse for so many teams to play FCS teams every year.

Of note, SEC this week...

Tennessee lost to fucking Georgia State
Mizzou is losing to Wyoming
Arkansas beat FCS Portland St. by 7
A&M smoked powerhouse Texas State
Florida eked by Miami (that was an ugly game -- quality opponent though)
Bama smoked Duke
LSU smoked Sun Belt Conference GA Southern
Kentucky struggled with Toledo

Next week Bama plays New Mexico State, later in the season they play Western Carolina. Do better!
Georgia plays Murray State, but they also play Notre Dame out of conference.
A&M does play Clemson, but they also play Lamar and UTSA. smh
LSU plays Texas, but they also play GA Southern, Northwestern State, and Utah State. Fucking pathetic
Florida played Miami, but they also play fucking Towson, and TN Martin
Arkansas plays Portland State, Colorado State, Western Kentucky and San Jose State
Kentucky plays Toledo, Eastern Michigan and TN Martin (TWO MAC teams?)

Y'all see where this is going. SEC is top heavy. The rest of the conference is MEH! And they all fatten up on FCS, Sun Belt, and MAC teams.
