Small Female Cop Tries To Arrest A Man For Riding His Bike On A Sidewalk

It seems it's against the law to be walking in certain parts of NYC if you're black so does that make things okay with every law?
My race doesn't stop me from having common sense.
How can anyone that claims to be a black man be pro police?
The kid acted as though this was happening because of his race. But was he beaten, shot, did the officer draw her gun and force him to get down? No, she asked for his ID. If that was a black female cop, would he have acted the same way?
According to the law, once he started resisting, they have the right to do whatever (sarcasm), as we've seen numerous times. But what was the outcome here?

California does not have a statewide law against riding bikes on sidewalks...
as long as you accept thats their excuse for arresting you then handle yourself accordingly, if not ya might get shot for it too.

the law is silly but like I tell my kids it is the law until it changes a cop can stop you for it so know the consequences of your own actions. even down to bullshit jaywalking you can be stopped and written a ticket for it so dont act above your paygrade.

Naturally, I tell my kids to obey pigs. If they don't, they can end up dead or with a felony that can blacklist them from great jobs.
My kids know they will get fucked with even when they aren't breaking the law. I tell them to remain calm and live to fight another day. Pigs are pigs. They will turn a simple jaywalking incident into a person getting frisked. That's their intention for black people. Stop and frisk.

You can be respectful as fuck and still get hemmed up. It's a system. Having said that, I totally agree... be compliant, don't be an asshole. Also riding a bike on the sidewalk is dangerous and many people have been seriously injured from it. Just because you think it is no harm to do something does not mean your actions can't affect others.
