Since the pandemic, electricity prices in the US are up a staggering 31%.

"The average US monthly electricity bill is now ~$140."

I dont know whos or them average shits is..but ours about 120$ for the summer and we will exchange it for the winter bill...but we also had ceiling fans installed this year.. so our bill fell more this summer than last...i enjoy my nest thermostat...i imagine my neighbors electric has to be crazy because i hear theirs running all day while ines be on chill mode...

My bill was $480 last month.

My last one for the Month of July was 493.00, My shit was crazy like this since last summer, when I got central air and pool heater.just got solar panels installed so I'm curious to see what my bill Is at the end of this billing cycle.

I live in an apartment now after moving out of my house last year. Three story house electric averaged around 140-180 month.... In an apartment somehow it's 300$ smh No meters in my building. They getting poor ppl like this

All these companies like the huge profits they are making for themselves and their shareholders... It's called capitalism.

That's what's fucked up about this country. This is The United Corporations of America, it's We The People who suffer while the corporation benefits

I'm glad I i went solar

Well damn!!
I also sold my house last year, but shit wifey was telling the bill used to be in the summer 200 n something every month until the fall! We bought a townhome and that has shifted our bill cost, we are also in a different county. From what her and i had gathered county really matters. We were in cook (crook) county and now in kane...shit car gas prices better as well...but damn thats fucked up with that apartment electric bill!!

It’s a 50-50 thing one what you said, and the other is US power companies greed
They are also charging for overtaxing of the grid by the EA vehicles plus someone is going to have to pay for the infrastructure upgrades to keep up with the projected demand growth.

 Fools don't know what they are in for.

All the politicians(and MSM) going to do is guilt trip regular citizens into using less electricity, fuck doing anything about costs. Reduce your carbon footprint peasants.
