Should've Got An A On It...

that was genius. great way to get the kids excited about something positive. too bad the original song is such a skank fest. i would've preferred if they didn't have to be subjected to that mess of music at all but that vid was cute.

That was cute but expected from the thread title. Good to see something inspiring from our youth.

aawww cute!!!

i like that it was something they got the whole school involved in, or at least that's what it looks like...

 That was the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. That's the version beyonce shoulda been singing instead of teaching these young girls how to shake their asses. But of course ain't no money in positive music.

Love it! Reminds me of the stuff I used to do a few years ago with middle school students...changing these vulgar songs to something positive...

(Not that I'm saying Single Ladies was vulgar, but, seriously, we could do better...just saying...)

What about it doesn't sit right with u ?

Hm.

Ok, let me put it this way. You know how they "bleep" out curse words and vulgarity in some songs on the radio or movies on network television n shit? Especially when the message couldn't possibly be in any other context? :dunno:

One of the great pop cultural phenomenons of all time. Black artist. Black choreographer. Astonishingly well-performed dance routine in tribute to old school Bob Fosse films. Folks 20 years from now will be wondering what it was like to experience it way back when. Embrace it and enjoy it.

I think it is "cute" enough to send its own message...eh, depending on viral channeling of course, but I see your point. Eh...like someone trying to remix a song with strong popular appeal, and an ingrained message. Every time we hear the beat, we play that template in our minds...

...eh...leave it up to phlucking Shawn to make me philosophize about little children at school...
