Should we just admit its over for Tiger?? Woods struggles to 3-over 75 to fall from Hero contention

I really wish Tiger would retire, it is always better to leave with your Legend in tact. Being a "HAS BEEN" is for CAC's

I don't know about RETIRING...what I meant about its over is that everyone is looking for a return of the old tiger when he was kicking ass and taking names... but I don't think he's going to get back to or even close to that form and intense winning again. Whenever tiger steps on a golf course people are hoping its the return of the TIGER..like when jordan first retired then came back and won 3 more rings.

This ain't that and I think that WE as fans need to start dealing with it.

I agree with what you mean, Tiger will never be that "Tiger" again. I still would like to see him retire because even if WE don't think he will be the OLD TIGER, the media will always be comparing now to then. Unless he needs to keep playing to satisfy contractual commitments, hang it up and wait for the Seniors if that is what you want.

Taylor made and Bridge stone your right. Nike has stopped making golf equipment. He made an offical announcement via his twitter. I read the change over via the golf channel and business insider.

He's coming back the PGA has hedge its bets via Rory Mcllroy, Jordan Spieth, Rickie Folwer now.

Steph Curry basketball and Jordan Spieth is holding down under Armour golf.

Nike stopped making golf shit in 2016

Naw b...

He fought back. I find myself uncontrollably rooting for him. Deny it though he may that dumb coon is still a bruh.

I think he may eventually win a tournament or two again, but I'd be surprised if he ever came close to winning a major. Aside from the fact that nobody out there gets shook by him anymore like they used to, and despite his constant injury problems.... age is putting him into where it's extremely rare for a dude to win a major. He's like 42 and there are only a few times anyone over 42 has won a PGA major.
I can't get on the man for sticking with what he loves, especially when he can still make great money doing it, but damn, I wish he would have just retired a few years back because unless he totally rebounds and wins majors, he's not gonna go down as the absolute monster he was for all those years pre-suv-tree-golf-club night. MJ came back with the Wizards and was still more than serviceable but he fucked up his career FG percentage by doing it (it's still great, but damn, I believe after he retired from the bulls it was over 50%, but after the wizards it ended up 49%. could have been a shooting guard with a career 50% FG average).... and he didn't stick around as a player that long in that 2nd comeback. Tiger just keeps on trying.

Just playing possum. Tiger is about to get busy in a few.

Based on your comments you don’t play golf and really know nothing about the game. What he has done in such a short period of time since having spinal fusion surgery is damn near unheard of.

Tiger still sucks the life out of his playing partners. Didn’t he play with Jordan Spieth the first two days? Tiger beat him by 10 shots! What about the 54 hole leader? He shot 77 today after hearing Tiger birdie the first hole and the constant chant of Tiger Tiger from the galllery. His playing partner today shot 78. Yes Paul Casey won but he was off the course almost 90 minutes before Tiger’s round was over. No real pressure on him today. Sergio shot 65 as well. It’s a big difference when your round is almost over and the leaders haven’t even made the turn yet. No pressure at all!

He’s one of the favorites to win Bay Hill next week and Vegas has him as a favorite to win the Masters!

Tiger.
Destroyed knee? Multiple back operations? Spinal Fusion. Cant walk. Game is in shambles.

Does not matter to him. Has a goal. Works, pays the price, works until the goal is attainable

This nugga gets $hit done.

Have not played golf since I was 8, and don't want to. Don't know a whole lot about the game because it bores the fuck out of me. I didn't insult tiger, I just told the truth. He's 42 now and it's doubtful that he will return to past form. Is that not true? He's had a bunch of injuries that have made it hard for him to return to past form. Is that not true? The newer younger guys aren't shook by him the way they were when he was in his prime, true or not true? Where have I said anything bad about the guy? I haven't... just stating facts, and I don't need to be Johnny Miller to do it.
It's just unlikely Tiger will ever be the Tiger of old and I wished he could have gone out as the Tiger of old.
What's wrong with anything I said?

He was a birdie away from a playoff Sunday, so whats wrong with what you said? Everything after "Don't know a whole lot about the game". Should have stopped typing right there.

who gives a fuck what the comp think. I doubt Tiger does
do you really think Jordan gives a fuck about career FG %. He was about winning championships, challenging himself and competing
I watched the entire round today. Tiger was inches away from winning. I can't believe dude had 7 surgeries.
I fully expect him to be winning majors again, sooner than you think

I'm not a professional boxer, but I wish Roy Jone's had retired for good long before he did. I'm not a professional b-ball player but I wish MJ never came back after his 2nd retirement. I'm not a professional tennis player but I wish Venus Williams had retired from singles play a few years back. Sorry if it hurts people's feelings, but I wish people that I consider icons in their sport would leave while they're on top.
Geez, you'd think I said I wished he had died or something. Age eventually beats everybody and he's 42 (shit, I'm 49, so I'm not a kid talking shit here)

If he wins 2 majors in the next year, I'll admit he's back to form and that I'm 100% wrong, ok?

wow, I really seem to have offended people here by giving my opinion. Oh well, it's what I think and as I said above, if he wins a couple majors in the next year, I'll come back to this thread and admit I'm wrong. If he doesn't, will you guys?

lol i don't get offended off internet shit. i only read the last couple of posts. I just find it strange that someone would think elite, once in a lifetime athletes like Jordan or Tiger would care about what the competition think or FG percentage. but what do I know. its all good, peace

Did you know Venus lost the Australian open final to Serena last year? Also played in the Wimbledon final and another final in 2017?

Jack Nicklaus went 6 years before he won his last major I bet you would have told him to retire after 5.

Probably think Serena should've retired years ago after her injury

No because Serena has pretty much always at least been in contention up until the pregnancy. Venus hasn't been what she was for quite some time, so I wish she had stopped a while back.
Yeah I know about Jack and what he did for his last major and that's great, but Jack didn't have the fall that Tiger had, so I wish Tiger had hung it up. Maybe he'll turn into a monster again and take jack's record and be winning majors until he's 48, but I just don't think so.
