We gauge approval by looking at more than just social media trolls. If online popularity was the main thing, Bernard Sanders would have been a two term President.

The whole immigrant back lash was created by Trump and the Republicans to get him elected. The situation was real but manufactured as a political strategy and it worked like a charm.

Black America needs to have an honest conversation about the impact of immigration on the Black community especially the latin american community. And this the crazy thing, go to this immigrates native county and demand the same thing they get here and they laugh you out of there face. But they play on our racism and fear. We could fight back with racism and fear. But we ain't really trying to go there. And we don't want to get together.
Unity beats division. White males have a unifying theme. White power. What will be our unifying theme. Non-white male power works for me.

Naw bruh, people really didn't care that much. It was when the bus loads shipped from the border to the sanctuary states. Then the migrants were living in the streets cause they had nowhere to go. Then they were stealing cause they were jobless . Then word got out that the local government was putting them in hotels, giving them an allowance. What the Dems did not do was bring attention to the root cause which was the bussing to those cities. And they should've started deporting them.

Democrats have been trying to educate, enlighten, and teach the electorate for 10 years, and if it wasn't for covid, Trump would be undefeated against that strategy. And he ALMOST beat us even with Covid. At some point we'll have to accept that it's not that people don't know about these issues, it's not that they don't understand them, it's that they don't care.
I remember folks saying if we just explain the Mueller report to people, they would come around. If we just impeach Trump and put his crimes out in the public, people will turn on him. That fuck got more popular after the impeachment. Then it was if he gets convicted of a crime and people know about his crimes, they will be against him. He got convicted, and we saw how that workd.
Trump ran on shipping, and I quote "every single illegal immigrant out of the country in the biggest deportation operation in history" and he improved his vote percentage in every single district in NYC, all across California, and won every single swing state.
If folks feel strongly about it, speak out. Just know it's not something that's going to help you win the next election, and at some point, Dems need to get serious about winning the midterms.

It wasn't created by Trump it's something that's been festering for well over decade. I worked with retired 1199 union members in nyc, white black and Hispanic all complain about their health coverage and how people who come here illegally got better insurance than them.
