He was projected as a first round pick.

Brown Fans said they could've picked him in the first round.

All these reports coming out saying he was blackballed with proof after the draft was over.

Also, it's about how black players are being mistreated in the NFL is what we're saying but some of y'all refuse to see that.

So the same people that are telling you that he should go first round are practically the same people that are blackballing him.

Merch and television numbers initially went up not because of him or Travis. They went up because of the coach! Again, like I said earlier playing for his dad did not help him. You see Deion more than his son. The only times he was brought up was when they were trying to paint narratives about him. If he was this great player, why would he need to play for his dad? If I'm great I can be great anywhere and I REALLY don't want my greatness to be tarnished by the stain of nepotism. I do not want to make it seem like homie is a bum, he is FAR from that. But first round after playing for my father, in a average division, on a average team, telling everybody how great I am? That's laughable.

College is a world different than professional. Just like some divisions are a worlds different than others. Being on an average team in a average division again DOES NOT HELP HIM!!! If he had those same stats in a Big 10 or the SEC, then you have an argument for first round.

What don't you understand?

They basically got him in the 5th round which was very late pick because of what he said that rubbed them CACs the wrong way with them being in their feelings. Yet, y'all making this shit more complicated when it shouldn't be..The thread title speaks for itself and the owners and GMs has proven what a lot of us said all along..

When we said blackballed, we're talking about Shedeur being the target.

I hate when people keep saying Shedeur wasn't good yet this past college season he was considered the best or second best quarterback by EVERYBODY...that watched him play but he's not good now.


This is during when Deion is still doing an overhaul of the program.


EVERYBODY kept saying,if Shedeur had a decent offensive line the Buffaloes would've gone to the playoffs.

I listened to this earlier and I only partially agree with him on this. I think Bo was talking about him being "outspoken" in a political sense but we are just talking about actually being verbally bold and outspoken. I agree with some of the stuff he said about how Shedeur was recruited and his time throughout the years but what Bo didn't talk about was the qbs that went ahead of him. If Josh Allen and mahomes was in this draft and he slides, that's one thing but Shough and Milroe? Nahh

I agree, and honestly I think the reason that he got drafted in the 5th round is a mixture of everything that we've heard so far.

Literally every team had a change to draft him several times and chose not to, which says a lot.

I'm just happy that he got drafted and I know that he'll make the best of it.

One of the teams I definitely thought would pick him up

I thought Steelers cause it would be cheaper to get him instead of overpaying Rodgers.. also they got 2 real good wrs that could help sheuder out

Thought 49ers cause it be cheaper to get him than to pay Purdy or make Purdy know he got to step up his game cause there’s someone on the sideline that wanna take his place

Thought colts cause it seems shaky over there with Richardson on whether or not they wanna keep him or not

Thought jets cause i wouldn’t trust Justin fields to be that qb that make them playoff bound

Thought saints cause Carr is injury prone and well he only got like a 2 yr deal if I’m not mistaken

Thought Vikings cause just in case that young dude don’t pan out you could try something with sheuder especially with all them offensive weapons

Good points. I can still see one of these teams picking him up because I would be shocked if he doesn't get cut by the Browns early. It just doesn't seem like the right fit, and they ironically drafted him for the attention. My two cents on it is that I really didn't think he was as good as everybody hyped him to be, but I certainly felt he was better than some quarterbacks that were hyped as well, even some starters in the league. In particular, I personally think he's better than the Carolina quarterback, Bryce Young, and could be better than Fields. He's going to have to go somewhere that gives him a stable offensive line because I still think his problem early in his career will be holding the ball too long. He's not very mobile and tends to wait on receivers to get open, but in the league, he'll have to throw them open in tighter windows.

It's really crazy, he's better than average that he should've got taken earlier and not late in in the 5th round..

It's even worse when your own kind goes against you and we wonder why we never can prosper because most of our people have this crab in the barrel mentality..

I can't wait until the NFL season to begin, so that shedeur can shut the doubters and haters up.

People forgetting Bryce young started stepping his game up after he got benched and the backup got injured in a car accident giving Bryce the opportunity to start again.. the team so that improvement and is now trying to give him better weapons.. so I didn’t think panthers was gonna give sheuder the chance

He never admitted but I think his confidence was shot after the Frank Reich season. Canales put him on the bench and Andy Dalton came in specifically to be a backup and help wherever he could. Dalton understood his role. Bo made this point on his podcast about to be a backup in this league, you can't be an asshole or arrogant or outshine the starter. He used Tyrod as an example of this and this is what is needed for a young qb that is the guy. Bo's explanation is probably the best one about why Shedeur fell. If he's not your starter, but he's overshadowing the starter, then that can cause issues in the locker room. This is why he went to Cleveland because the QB competition is open.
