Shannon Slurpe and Ja Morant Dad had a altercation at the Lakers game.

Good to see old cats like Shannon Sharpe going in on these young cats... but seriously tho Shannon need to tone it down
before one of these young boys whoop his azz :giggle:
There are very few people in the sports world who could fuck with Unc in a fair one.

Damn sure ain’t no NBA players want that problem.

Please explain.....

I don’t know, Fam. Maybe it’s because I hear often that “men” are not emotional like women, but the whole thing came off just like a bunch of clucking ass bitches yapping back at each other over nothing. Even then, I'm not satisfied with that thought because I feel like it’s more to it and it generalizes.

Maybe it was the unequal treatment of regular people versus celebrities. Anyone else gets kicked out, banned, and probably arrested. Shannon and Tee were allowed to return like shit ain’t happened. All because of who they are. And I get that, but it’s still hypocritical in my eyes.

It didn’t even bother me that they were black men. It just look stupid, pointless, and a reminder that people are who they are.

Why not let them fight it out, right? If they lack such impulse control as grown men, then why should we give a fuck about them making themselves look like dumb asses.

But in all honesty, my head space if very cynical right, so I am also not pleased in how I seem to be responding about the behaviors of humans.

I agree with your assessment because it looked like some WWE shit.

SO, now this is gonna be news for awhile until it's forgotten.

I guess they wanted to cause a distraction at the game and it seem like it worked.

Yes, the NBA have double standards on what is and isn't allowed at games.

If a person is well known and have a status to their name they get special privileges to do what they want compared to a regular fan getting disciplined for it.

When you're public figure working for a company it don't work like that. Free time and really free

Well to be honest, non-public figures free time really isn't free either. :dunno:

If I was at the game and I kicked Brooks like a field goal, stomped out Ja like a small fire, tossed Sweet Tee like week old milk and folded Adams like origami.

I'm sure that my job would want to talk to me if instill had one on Monday just like they would Shannon if he fought the Grizzlies.

But that's not the point. The point is that in his workplace Shannon has to compose himself and not have co-workers have to hold him back from stomping Skip out to keep his job.

But you know this don't you.

Yeah, that entire thing is just reminded me why I left my last job partly because of double standards in how shit is enforced. Lol

Humans are emotional, that's both women and men. Whoever said men aren't emotional is foolish and wrong.

Anger's an emotion, feeling disrespected is an emotion, rage is an emotion and men feel them all.

And yes a regular fan would've been kicked out but we know the reason that they weren't.

I hate this double standards shit. I'm out the moment they let some shit fly but then wanna tell you can't do something or the same thing. FOH

But like I told someone else last night on this thread, shannon put up with so much disrespect from skip like a coon when he should've knocked his teeth down his throat to teach him a lesson about respect and then deal with the consequences later of getting sued and fired but still get another job or start a podcast having a huge following.

But shannon wanted to become this incredible hulk last night at the game toward small players.

Bruh, Brooks said "Fuck him" to Shannon and Tee probably said something about fighting so it was a different set of circumstances.

Regarding him targeting small players, Shannon looked like a shrimp compared to them! :roflmao:

Shannon's the same height as Ja and we see how he looks standing next to the other players.

Bruh, shannon is muscular and bigger than those dudes, them 2 players wouldn't be able to contain him at all because of the weight differences regardless of the height.

Now adams would give shannon problems because he has the weight and height advantage,

But shannon was doing the most at a game and what skip said was more disrespectful coming from a CAC,

Also, something had to be said to make brooks say fuck you to shannon.

So heres the thing about Shannon, his manhood seems to be challenged daily by Skip on that TV show. For all we know Shannon could have been joking when he said dude was too small, but now dude trying to clapback and Shannon and with it so he starts talking. "Dont get it twisted youngsta" So since we know that Memphis is about that life, here comes everybody. Truthfully I dont think it was that big of deal, especially considering Shannon and the dad peaced it up after the fact.

Skip now knows what Shannon will do if he catch him "outside"

Too bad that didn't apply to Charles Oakley :smh:

And that’s why I would have been cool with it escalating to the next level.

It was all pointless in the first place. And I still believe Shannon wouldn’t do anything to Skip.

It’s all bark. Just like it was last night.
