So you are suggesting that this is more accurately framed as "democrats getting played" than as "women out of control"? I'm still on the ledge but not as ready to jump.
I don't know about the other 6, but I didn't believe the initial one after I saw the video. Plus Roger Stone tweeted about it before she went public.
They may be true, emboldened by the first accuser, but I haven't been following it closely. Franken says they aren't true, and while it wouldn't shock me to have a man lie, he strikes me as more trustworthy than most.
Several dems wanted Conyers gone, and he seemed to have several age related problems, so I understand why they weren't fighting for him, but imo it would be amistake not to protect Franken.
I do think dems are overreacting, trying to keep a clean image. They aren't being strategic, they are reacting. Franken hasn't comitted any crimes. The last accuser was supposedly a staffer. If something took place while in office that is one thing. If it happened before then, then I don't think they have standing to ask him to leave while we have Trump in the WH and Moore on his way to the senate.
