Yeah they should let Taimak play him again, and Busta will lose weight and play Shonuff. He did a good job in his dangerous video. As far as Vanity, I don't know who is fine enough to play her. All the girls you guys have named are not fine enough. Just like they can't find a woman fine enough to play Wonder Woman. If they remake this movie, I hope they look deep and hard for the actors.

I agree Busta all chubby and shit wit that thick ass neck. When Busta played Shonuff had the bird chest- all skinny. He could have rocked his dreads samuri styles then as well.

I knew it. Was just talking to somebody about this.

We both came to the realization that any attempt of redoing this movie would fail, because the simple fact is when we were young we didn't watch the movie for the story. We watched it because it had Bruce Lee references, kung fu fighting, not so special effects, music from big artists, and FINE ASS VANITY.

What happened is that Shonuf made the movie what it is. God rest his soul he is a cult icon. The accidental chemistry of the 1 time actors is what made the flick. It was a lighting bolt that could never strike in the same place twice.

Berry Gordy made this movie to package it with a sound track full of stars. It was genius at the time. The remake will be the total failure Last Dragon was originally supposed to be.
