Some tried to discourage him and worked to determine his location so that they could contact 911 and get him help.
Sure enough dude takes all the pills and lies down on the bed while the camera is still filming him live.
A lot of people assumed it was a prank and didn't realize he was serious until the police burst through his door (still live on the internet) and found him already deceased

Honestly we all thought it was bullshit until the end when the cops came through the door.
The story ended up going viral and there were a few local articles written about the brother who offed himself which were also posted.
