Russell Westbrook

What the fuck is Mo Cheeks doing over at OKC? He can't break thru to this kid and help him become a better PG and a better pro?

And that's Cheeks fuckin fault this asshole acts unprofessional and immature. :smh: Da fuck outta here man. Negros and there lack of responsibility I tell ya. This statement is almost as bad as the Chicago Nigga blaming Joe Dumars for ruining Iverson's career.

No fam

U posted a pic of Kobe and kwame brown

Kobe didn't win those by himself by no means

Kobe got 5 championships

Rose is never a chucked fam

Chuckers don't win Mvps

You're focusing too much on Kwame. Your statement was that Chuckers do not win Mvps. Kobe is a known chucker (talented one but still a chucker) and he won an MVP in 2008. I don't know why you're talking about championships when that was not in any of the comments that I replied to of yours.

naw! this shit was him getting mad at the team not letting him shine like Durant. Westbrook needs his own team. This fool went six for six and got benched. i know its Durant team, but hes the baby in this situation. He couldn't stand seeing Westbrook shine and got mad at him when he did not pass the ball.

So let me get this straight......Durant is the baby for not throwing the man fit and rushing off crying?....man cmon.

You might want to watch the clip again, and each time you watch it look at each of his teammates reaction to that play. Then come back and tell us it was Durant mad and not letting him get his "shine".

Fam, the more I read the reaction to what Westbrook did the more shocked and depressed I get about the mentality of people today. I am NOT going to qualify my comments by highlighting Westbrooks "potential" or unique skill set. You know why - cuz it's irrelevant.:hmm:

Westbrook was a strait b*tch. He was immature. He was defiant. He was unrepentant and really showed his @$$. If this dude does this in front of thousands in a stadium and in front of a TV audience, can you imagine what goes on in practice!?!?! And he is a team "leader":smh:

The problem that I really have is with the head coach and Durrant. Its one thing to back your boy against Skip Bayless when he says that Westbrook needs to give the ball up more - to YOU no less and its another to defend his selfish and explosive behavior the other night. This dude is coddled and "allowed" to be this way behind closed doors and his antics are pacified.

The point is Westbrook was WRONG. he should have given up the ball - period. To go ballistic like that on a team mate is ridiculous. The same people defending Westbrook's actions are probably the same people who dug into Jake Cutler for him calling out his offensive lineman. There is NO difference.

The organization, and more importantly, KD, need to step to this dude. He needs to be ACCOUNTABLE. After the game, during the interview with Craig Sager, this n*gga actually said that he handled the situation "LIKE A MAN"?!?! - with a straight face. :hmm: GTFOH. They defended him in the finals last year, when even Magic Johnson said that he had NEVER see a PG play that poorly in a Finals game. They defend him taking more shots than KG. This most recent offense is a culmination of the pacification of this dude. Something has got to change.

I agree with this 100%. If they don't stop this shit now he's gonna keep acting like a bitch and throwing fits. Coach needs to have a closed door meeting and tell him cut the shit or your done here. :itsawrap:

I told people, they will never win a championship this way. They said it best on TNT. Just think how the locker room must be after something like this happens. No one wants to be around Westbrook or say the wrong shit. Feeling like you're walking on eggshells. Something has got to give. Because as talented as he is, the clock is ticking and how long will people continue to say he will finally put it all together?

THE ONLY THING I DISAGREE WITH IS KD STEPPIN TO HIM........FUKK THAT, KD SHOULDN'T HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING TO HIM, THAT IS THE FUKKIN COACHES JOB!:angry: JUST TRADE HIM, HE ISN'T CREATING SHOTS FOR ANYONE AS A POINT GUARD, THEY MAY AS WELL TARDE HIM FOR RODNEY STUCKEY...HE WOULD GIVE YOU THE SAME SHIT......

Somehow, KD is getting a pass on his shitty game 6.
Not at all.. We all roasted his ass... But, as you see, Russ has been doing this shit over 6 years now.. When does the progression and growth take hold?? He plays a few good games and reverts back to the dumb shit.. Russ does this shit habitually. And has for YEARS..

No idea how you cant see the difference.

KD need to give OKC & Westbrook one mo shot, they know what they gotta do next year.

Him and Westbrook need to Quit Choking. Period!

I see the difference. What I hope you see is that Russ did not lose this series. I saw a mix of Russ playing well while KD didn't, followed by KD slaying it while Russ fucked up. I really liked the play of Kanter, Adams, Robeson, & Waiters. The stars simply need to make better decisions. BOTH of them.

Yea, im not really into dividing blame equally for the purposes of fairness. Again, Russ has a history that speaks for itself... I bumped two threads for the purposes of illustrating just that... If you objectively watched that series and say both were equally to blame then you and I have nothing to talk about.

Be blessed.

There's no need to be passive aggressive. The discourse is what makes this site worthwhile. If we all agreed on every topic, it'd get boring very fast.
While I agree with you that Westbrook has a history of playing 'hero ball', I did notice his growth this year and am trying to be objective in regards to him. I no longer want to throw shoes at the TV when I watch him play. His stats are better, as well. Regarding KD, my only issue with the Slim Reaper is I believe he needs to somehow bulk up. He gets stripped a lot and I think upper body strength would help in that regard. He'd also finish better with contact. I believe that, outside of playing under Popovich, both players would be fools to leave, be it requesting a trade or signing elsewhere. Their best opportunity to win is in OKC.

Nothing passive aggressive about bailing on a argument where two sides are too far apart to come to common ground. As for their best shot being together... Nah. No longer agree with that. Thats why i bumped the old threads... Nothing has changed... They will both be 28 next season. They are who they are. Russ shows progress but reverts back to the bullshit at the worst given moments. They wont win shit together. 6 years is a lifetime in NBA franchises... Durant needs to salvage whats left of his prime and go somewhere with a coach who can teach him how to win.

Okay, I can respect that POV.
