Rosetta Stone v3 Application & Patch w/ Instructions (no porn)

hey man thanks for the thread. i downloaded this 3.2 version of rosetta stone. then i got the korean language packs via bittorrent. when i tried to use them it said rosetta stone needed to be updated for them to work. so does that mean i need to download v3.3.5 of rosetta stone??? also i made the disk instead of making virtual drives does that change anything???

Good looking out. I haven't been able to get it to install the Japanese language packs because the installation of the packs just freezes up after about 20 minutes remaining.
Anyone have problems installing and running on Vista Ultimate?

Vista Ultimate is what I'm using right now. I can't imagine why you're having that problem.

OK, this is not Rosetta Stone, but it should keep you busy for now. Tag for Rosetta Stone is not as easily available as the other languages. But folks are looking hard.

LingvoSoft Suite 2008 English <-> Tagalog for Windows is still a nice alternative. I like it because you can translate in either direction. I am playing with it right now and the talking dictionary is pretty cool. :yes:

ThaAnsa3 I went back over the instructions and found that RIF is true for people ages 3 to 30+.
I wasn't able to get the patch to work. I kept receiving the following pop-up message:

Can not access the file. Maybe it's in use. Please close the file before patching.

The name of the file it was trying to access was FNinterface.dll
I followed the rest of the instructions and installed language pack, but then it said that the packs would only work for a limited time because the product was not activated.

Any advice on getting the patch to work properly?

Reinstall the program and this time, run the patch as 'Administrator.' If you do that,then everything should work fine. Let me know.

yo is anyone having problems with the nihongo packs? this shit keeps stoping mid lesson. and then some of the lessons wont start. i used the patch so i have access to all the lesson parts but some of them just dont seem to be working. talk to me if you having the same problem. or if you have a fix.

yo is any one using the japanese packs? if you are then does yours freeze up at step five of the core 3 part? holla at me. piece.
 
Do I need to install the first part and then the language packs? Or do I just install the language packs?

Also roughly how big is this?

I don't know if I understand your question. You need to install the application itself before you can install any of the language packs. I hope that's what you were asking.

So this IS the version for the Mac as well, but the patch is for a PC. As ThaAnsa3 stated, the application will install, but it will be limited (only a few lessons will work I think). The patch is not that easy to locate. This one claims to be a Mac patch:

Thank you for this, and thanks for the Tagalog too. I work overseas sometimes and the Portuguese will come in handy.

If you get that Tagalog for Rosetta stone please drop it. It would help a brother out.
