In the early 1960s, Roger Mosley used to be a swim coach at Roosevelt Park in Los Angeles during the summertime.

A couple of my uncles learned how to swim from him.

I met him at the Black Stuntmen Association event they had in Las Vegas back in 2008. It was Roger Mosley Antonio Fargas Ji-tu Cumbuka and Bob Miner

Damn, he was in a car accident that paralyzed him from the neck down on August 4th. Died shortly afterward.

Being paralyzed is no way to live. All of my best friends know if I'm ever in a situation like that, they know what to do

As someone else said, to live 83 years and be taken out by a car accident. That's fucked up. I've got to check out Leadbelly. I've seen more than a few references to it and his performance in that movie. Rest in peace
