Oh, this happened to me.I got chased by a wolf. Shot it twice. It lay dying. I walked up on it and stabbed it in the heart. Somebody rode by and saw it and then ran off and reported me for "animal cruelty." WTF!!
Set up camp in Tall Trees. While camping, the Skinner Brothers ran up and put a knife to my throat! Told me not to let them catch me camping there again. Hoping to camp again to see if the roll up on me so I can clap back!
Saw a dead body in Saint Denis laying behind a fence. Picked it up to move it. Somebody saw me and was like "Did you do that" and ran off and reported me.
Anybody met the Stranger in Strawberry who said he was sold some fake erectile dysfunction medication?!
I rolled up on a horse that was laying on the side of the road dead and three riders past me when I was 10 yards past the horse and then I hear, "That's him. Think he did it?" Then...
"ANIMAL CRUELTY"
I didn't even kill that horse, or even raid the saddle bags, yet they called the law on me for animal cruelty.
I ended up falling over the waterfall and having to reload. I lost 5 perfect pelts...damned bastids
Now, I keep my masks on when I get off my horse and raid dead bodies/horses
Damn, never ran across this one. So much I've missed.
Question for those that finished the game.
Does anyone dislike playing as John? I've seen posts and comments on social media about how much people dislike playing as John. Authur was a great character and I wish that some way we could have continued to play as his character but its funny how people hated not having John after the end of RD1. But it's also we all hated playing as Jack. "Work you damn nag".
I did at first. Arthur was such a rugged, memorable character that you kind of get emotionally involved playing as him. But I'm fine playing as John now, since he's a lighter character and is good for the random shit you do after the main story is over. But Jack at the end of RDR1? Couldn't stand him because of his accent and voice.

-if you travel to Annesburg at beginning of the game you get to witness a fight between the husband and wife that will be a debt collection toward the end of the game
- when you get drunk with Lenny and search for him - look in the hooker bedrooms - both times...

I dont think anyone mentioned the drunken night out with lenny. At one point I thought we left to a new bar full of black people then I realized it was Arthur drunk ass seeing everyone as lenny.
I haven't beat the game yet but I fucks with lenny I'm impressed with the way his character is written. He even checked Arthur on some racist shit going on in the town

lenny and charles were among the better characters in this game...sadie and john were cool too...I even liked hosea and bill up to a point
lol...I didn’t know you could access mission checklists until like chapter 3 or 4
one of the few characters I made a point of always checking in w/ @ the camp...others I damn near had to run away from like the reverend dude lol
I’m gonna try an finish the epilogues tonite...barely started
I'm not gonna call it grieving cuz it’s a video game character lol...but the transition from arthur to john’s character was a little too fast...despite my complaints this is one of the most ambitious games I’ve seen as far as content and story goes...the writing/dialogue could use some tweaking but overall it was a pretty damn good story

ok I’m either getting conflicting answers or I’m just not following what y’all saying...and how would keeping the gold in the satchel bag make a difference...does john come across his bag? actually never mind don’t answer that last part lol
that’s wassup...I remember choosing to roll w/ john before arthur told him to go on w/o him...can’t remember if he gave him the satchel in my version of the ending...as long as I have my guns and ammo I’m cool tho...I should’ve kept a couple gold bars in the bag tho lol...that’s kinda dope that the satchel transfers to john
Really? I got all the cash back but only had John's revolvers. I had to buy my guns back. Maybe it's contingent on honor?
