Red Dead Redemption 2 (spoilers)

There's some truth to this about that damn Arabian.

I love that horse but man it is JUMPY! I'm at a bonding level of like 8 out of 10. I was going to rob Catfish Jackson... Hit a corner and I see a fast approaching red dot coming at me from the woods. First thought was SNAKE but I look up and it's a fuckin puma! Luckily I was already holding my pump action shotgun so I hit dead eye and put it down. I come out of dead eye and noticed that fuckin horse was in the process of bucking me off as I was shooting the big cat.

Had I not reacted the way I did and as quickly as I did I'd have been a lunchable... :smh:
^^^ Exactly. The Arabians are real JUMPY!!

In this game, seems like different types of horses have different "fight or flight" responses, whenever danger is close...

- The War Horses be like.... "Shheeeittt.... I WISH A NIGGA WOULD." :hmm:

- The Work Horses be like.... "Wait. Whut? Hold up... What's that over there?... Lurking in them bushes." o_O

- The Standard Riding Horses be like... "Just so you know upfront... Ima prolly jet... cuz you don't pay me enough for THIS bullshit, bruh."

- The Race Horses be like.... "Get off me!! Meet you back at the crib, Playa!! Deuces!!!" :dunno:

- And The Arabians will just buck you off & be GONE so fast.... they be yelling back at you from across the map like... "Ayo, be careful!!! When you get back to your feet... there's some deadly-ass shit coming your way, playboy!!! Handle that.... and I'll be on the other side of this LAKE if you need me... Just holla."

another example of random
-I was riding around a bend and had a full speed head on collision with another horse that was fleeing 6 wolves - before I could get up 3 of the wolves had already in process of killing 1 horse - my horse kicked one wolf and ran and Arthur is just getting on his knees surrounded by 5 wolves and 1 hurt wolf...
got a few bites - first time I saw animation of hitting wolf with gun stock - all shots were at point blank range- no clean kills all pelts worthless and Arthur was covered in blood...

I don't know if this applies here, but it reminded me of something that might help others that are hunting. I think a clean kill is not the only factor in pelt quality, the condition of the animal before it's killed plays a part too.

You can find out the condition of the animal by studying it and opening the info popup. The quality will be next to the name. So, for example, a bad kill on a pristine animal will likely result in a less than perfect pelt, but a clean kill on a poor animal will always result in a poor pelt.

There may be more variation to it, but this has saved me from just randomly killing a bunch of animals trying to get pelts for upgrades.

I would add that getting the Buck Antler trinket is a must if your thing top get perfect pelts/skins. It increases the chances of your animals retaining their quality from before you shot it.

Top 5 Things Rockstar NEED to Fix in Red Dead Redemption 2

shit just happened again w/ the guns during the sheep mission that led into the gunfight when you’re in the bar w/ dutch...the option to switch guns disappeared...and I could only use 3 guns...the weakest guns @ that even tho I had other guns previously selected...as soon as I escaped the law and the mission was over the guns I selected came back  don’t know if it’s a glitch or what but dude is right..,they need to fix/change that shit

Yeah, there's stars by the names, 3 stars means good, 1 is poor.

Shit just happened again!

I had just paid an attendant for info on a stagecoach to rob. So I'm setting up shop, waiting on it to drive by. I figure "let's use Dynamite to disable the wagon." I hide behind a rock, see the fucker coming and BOOM dynamite hit the caravan perfectly but the stagecoach only have a chunk of the wheel blown off, but security all dead. The stagecoach haul ass, so I turn around looking for my horse and that mufucca GONE! Its all running into the wall, into the water, like a scalded dog trying to get away. I spend more time chasing him than I do the stagecoach that got away (because that horse is a fuckin rocket).

I catch up to the stagecoach, thanks to a train, kill everybody and get the loot and get in the wind. But that horse pissed me off man

Anytime you see a prisoner in chains you should shoot their chains off. They're give you info on a home robbery. You can also hog tie them back up and take them to the nearest sheriff for a reward.
