That white Arabian got me fucked up by grizzly bear twice, and almost killed by a wolf twice.^^^ Exactly.The Arabians are real JUMPY!!
In this game, seems like different types of horses have different "fight or flight" responses, whenever danger is close...
- The War Horses be like.... "Shheeeittt.... I WISH A NIGGA WOULD."
- The Work Horses be like.... "Wait. Whut? Hold up... What's that over there?... Lurking in them bushes."
- The Standard Riding Horses be like... "Just so you know upfront... Ima prolly jet... cuz you don't pay me enough for THIS bullshit, bruh."
- The Race Horses be like.... "Get off me!! Meet you back at the crib, Playa!! Deuces!!!"
- And The Arabians will just buck you off & be GONE so fast.... they be yelling back at you from across the map like... "Ayo, be careful!!! When you get back to your feet... there's some deadly-ass shit coming your way, playboy!!! Handle that.... and I'll be on the other side of this LAKE if you need me... Just holla."
She threw my ass off like, "You on your own, dude. I'm getting the fuck outta here. Seent cha'!"
"Wait! We can leave together. Waaaaait!"

Both times that bear fucked me up. Ate those bullets like they came from a pick-a-nic basket and mauled me.
Those wolves I pulled a Quick Draw McGraw and got a perfect wolf pelt off one of them.
What was fucked up is I saw another dude roll up in the distance on his horse and the wolves attacked him, and then when he got away the wolves started running in my direction and my horse was like,
"Idiot. You didn't see them wolves fucking that dude and his horse up and you just sitting here? Well, I'mma dump you right here. Hope you make it home okay."
Man, you gotta save often in this game, but there's a potential nightmare with every confrontation.
I played with her a few hours and I would have to agree... Gun fire and wild animals don’t scare her as much.
did the game glitch for anyone during the moonshine mission?
me and the dude hogtied the 2 guards and it says wait by the wagon for your companions...I wait for about 15 minutes and keep seeing the same message...go to check on dutch and the other dude and they have 2 other guards hogtied but are just standing there

I caused the glitch when I hogtied one of the guards w/o knocking him out...he was still squirming around and shit and there was no option to knock him out once he was tied...had to kill him and restart the mission

I might need to be @ a certain point in the game for it to work...technically speaking I haven’t “unlocked” saint denis as yet...the saloon and the stagecoach area are locked for me...I only happened upon the city bcuz of vids posted here but I haven’t done any missions that revolve around it

got it to work...you have to go in the daytime...didn’t see anything I like but I’ll keep trying

also I read something in the comments that work that can enable the horses to respawn w/o having to save/exit the game each time...ride slightly northeast to the train tracks and wait line 10-20 secs and ride back to where the horses are and new ones will respawn

I just did this. Traded in my White Arabian for a Rose Grey Arabian. Sucks I got to train a horse again, but you guys have said a lot of good things about the Rose Grey Arabian

“discovered” a small town all the way north of saint denis...it’s a trading port/post called van horn...it’s new to me @ least...I would love a physical map for this game just to have...the world they’ve created is large as hell
found a cabin w/ body parts scattered everywhere...they were killed by a small meteorite which you can collect...idk if you can sell it

I forgot that my special content bonuses include a thoroughbred horse...just remembered and picked it up...so I’m test it out for a minute

I got a Turkoman last night and it's straight so far. But I want that fox trotter.
Already finish the game so I bought it... Imo The female horses perform a lot better than the male horses
I'm still in Saint Denis getting all of the cigarette cards (my roommate is watching Shannon & Skip right now, but after that I'm back on the game) so I'll go back to the spot and grab a Turkoman

Not sure what the easter egg is but I went back later on and her and the sons were inside. She was berating them. I shot a warning shot and she said that's him, he's back. Lit they asses up when they came out.
The honor system does piss me off sometimes. I was trying to steal a wagon for John at the Oil refinery. Got the shit and dipped. Had the usual warning with the red spot back at the scene of the crime but I was so fast that no one was chasing me. All of a sudden miles away the red spot is over me and there was a guard on a horse 5 feet away. Bullshit!
