You can make your own ink, or you can tell the dude I want to watch you make the ink, when you get done I'll keep the ink in my pression until we are ready.
There is lot of avoidable shit in prison.
The other red flag about the story is, usually someone that has some kind of feasible talent people generally tend to leave alone.
If you can draw, barber, braid hair, get contraband, you have social value and that goes a long way.

My nephew locked up right now looking at 15 years. He was locked up at 18 did 8 years, got out went back a year layer for 5 more., on his way back.
I asked him wtf is wrong he keep going back, don't he want to be free and live a normal life.
