Yall probably never heard of this cat but is 2nd 1st album (thats right cause his first album never got released because of some record label bullshit) "All of the Above" was hot. This cat is a lyricist. Also, he made a track called "Epilogue", but I haven't been able to find it for some time.

While I like J live a lot, it's obvious why he hasn't had great commercial success. Only people with especially eclectic tastes in music would appreciate J-Live....

How the fuck can you list Bubba fucking Sparxxx? Not only is that dude pure garbage he already had his chance. Dude went from doing the college radio/trailer park circuit to doing tracks with Timbaland, got spots with Nelly Furtado, SNL guest star appearances and STILL couldn't get himself a long lasting career. Saying he should have blown up is like saying that 35 year old highschool dropout cousin living on grandma's couch and playing x-box all day should have been a rocket scientict.

Dammit you answered your own question. He was with one of the biggest producers in the music industry, he's a white rapper and he's from the south which is biggest region for rap that sells(ringtones, singles,etc) right now. So comparing him to a high school(2 words not 1) dropout is stupid cause unlike the dropout he actually got his foot in the door. Simply put his circumstances would normally be a recipe for success and it didn't work out. Plus Deliverance was a good CD.

3.) and any other artist that is not on the commercial bullshit I am not a huge listener of hip hop but if I am going to listen I want to hear real stuff not commercial or pop but real life experiences
