Ray Lewis lll, son of Ray Lewis, passes away at 28

The CTE has been around for long enough now to not just talk about starting kids out at 12. It's illogical and life threatening to.your kids abilities going forward. CTE and how it happens is unavoidable. The way your brain sits inside cranium and slams into it from every hit or other hit - varying forces - will cause damage. Period. Those funny protective pads over the helmet are bullshit. They don't protect anything going on inside your skull and that's the problem without a solution. So, good luck to all of these kids and parents willing to risk for possible riches at like .000001223% chance to play in the NFL or.otherwise. IMO, Football should have been a dying busines/game with the seriousness of CTE, but it's turned into.jokes, misinformation, disinformation. Sad but here we are.
As long as the players don't show any decline mentally (while they're playing) no one will ever care. The NFL is simply printing money at this time and no one will close that bank.

But eventually they're going to have to ban all helmet contact and teach players how to tackle with their shoulders. Today's players just launch themselves wrecklessly to make tackles.

A good indicator to reduce CTE would study the levels of CTE in rugby players. If it's low or even not detectable there it's the only option for the NFL to protect their players and the future of the game.

*Edit* I just googled it and never mind CTE is crazy in rugby too

Me and my homies I always say if u want to reduce or get rid off CTE and concussions. Remove the helmets

We all played killa man as children and teens

We know what to do and not to do.

NOBODY would be leading with their head.

The helmets doesn't matter since rugby has a high CTE rate as well. At this point I have no idea what they could do

I have heard remove the face mask. That way you keep the head protects, but you not gone stick your face to many places it can get mashed up.

It doesn't matter since Rugby is experiencing the same issues. There are no helmets in Rugby.

Nah it's still dudes running at high speeds being tackled. Helmet or not both are struggling with CTE of it's former players.
The start up of Rugby and football is different

Everybody has there head next to each other

In football context a removed helmet will change the style of play.

No more crowning, dumb ass dives

Tryna tackle 220+ rbs in the thigh head first

U will have more logical sense on that field

None of that head slapping edge rushers do
