I'm playing Fantasy Football for the first time this year with the guys from work. We had our draft last night, and I got Tom Brady, and the Ravens Defense in my first two picks. I also got Brian Westbrook, and Kerry Collins (Backup QB) among others. The only thing I may need to trade for, or pay extra attention to are my receivers. I didn't get some of the players I wanted (e.g. M. Colston and T.J. Hou...Well you know who I'm talking about, lol), so I had to get cats like Hakeem Nicks, and Donald Driver. Hopefully my squad will kick ass though...
Even though I'm a Giants fan, I'm rooting for Mike Vick. I hope he does his thing tonight in the pre-season game, and beyond this point. Hopefully he's matured as a man and can get back to making plays on the field (except again the Giants)...

Haven't been drunk or "dirty" in a little under a month now. Feeling like I can "kick" completely from here.
Still banging out 18 hr semesters, feels good though. Might have this book finished before I thought.
Haven't updated my blog in a month though...not good.
Wondering why my caucasian instructors offer me more freelance work and assistance than the instructors of my own "ethnicity". Keep telling myself the Black instructors are just trying to show me the hard knocks of academia, but I know they are better connected than their white counterparts.

I proposed a trade in my Fantasy League... Anthony Gonzalez for Calvin Johnson. This is my first time playing, as I mentioned earlier, but my competitive nature is kicking in already. Sure, that's not the fairest trade, but fuck it!!! Yeah, I'm preying on the weak...Sue me... The person I proposed the trade to is my co-worker's (the commissioner of the league) girlfriend. She took over a team that was picked by someone who dropped out. In talking about what another co-worker said about his wife playing, this guy said he, like the other guy, is not going to help his woman with her team. Well, I certainly hope that is true and that she accepts my trade offer. Stay out of it sir, let your girl trade Calvin Johnson to my team for Anthony Gonzalez...
