I just saw this and thought it was pretty cool...
As much as his more recent stuff (IMO) has been creatively lethargic and boring, Jay is in a class of his own. I hope he goes in on BP3 and the new Kanye didn't fuck up his album like Wycleff did Canibus' back in the day ...

When I was a child I used to eat rice with butter and a smidgen of sugar.

Ain't been reportin in much, cause work at the embassy has been brutal. I really haven't been able to enjoy Jakarta like I wanted. I'm worn out when I get back to the hotel.
Don't expect any photos this time around. Just haven't had the opportunity to take any.
Maybe the next trip I go will be more fun than this one.

7.0 Earthquake hits Indonesia

While most of you all were sleeping, a strong earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 occurred off the southern coast of the Indonesian island of Java. Jakarta is located on the northern coast of the same island, but we felt the ground shake 300 kilometers from the epicenter of the earthquake.
For the record, I am fine. And this is the second time I have gone thru quake. Two years ago, I sat through a quake when I was in Lima, Peru. That one was nowhere near as powerful as today's quake.
So, just so you all know, I AM FINE. No need to panic.
I'll talk to you all soon. Peace and Blessings.
