I really hope the NBA teams start going back to their old logos because some of this new shit is straight up stupid looking.

You can't move forward in anything walking backwards. I am a sixers fan i love the old logo but it is still a dumb move in my opinion going backwards like that.
 
Where else could they go though, Dogg? That shit they been rockin the last 12 seasons was corny as hell.

Maybe I'll be lucky enough to see the Phils back in these...

So what would you suggest?

A logo that mixes the old and the new?....Personally considering the Sixers are one of the NBA's oldest teams I would just did like the Lakers did and keep the logos the same but start wearing more modern looking jerseys. (All though I do like the Showtime era unis)
 
Damn they raised the price on a bag of Doritos by 30% dont they know we are in a freaking recession... but damn this things are good

i think it would have been cool to let the fans help design the new uniforms. The city had a contest for someone to design a new sign for "don't block the box" so why couldnt the sixers do something similar. New logo or old logo if they don't put a good product on the court this season they will have problems filling seats again even in playoff games. The season begins with tomorrows draft so we will see how it goes.

Don't worry about that score. Remember its only the confederations cup. When the world cup starts next year, you'll see who's up there. Believe me when I say the the US won't be up there.


Anyway.......

Another 3 mile run today.....I'm feeling a lot better since I started running.

This new season of Law and Order SVU is just getting better and better. Also liking The Unit as well.

It was a nice surprise to see that mum dropped off some of her home made cooking whilst I was at work.......love you mum.

There is a booming trade in mothers’ breast milk. Prolacta Bioscience, a for-profit company, started marketing a breast-milk concentrate for $48 an ounce. Some mothers are also selling their own milk on the Internet for $1 to $2.50 an ounce. But all this is going on with little regulation and raise a lot of ethical and safety questions. Laraine Lockhart-Borman, who runs the Mothers’ Milk Bank of Denver at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center said that this might affect the people who are in need.


They also raise the question that the steady flow of donated milk that nonprofit banks supply to hospitals and mothers could dry up. She said that regulation is necessary. Stephen King the federal Food and Drug Administration spokesman said that they have not reached a decision on whether breast milk should, like human blood or tissue should be regulated. Pauline Sakamoto, executive director of the Mothers’ Milk Bank of San Jose, Calif said that regulation is essential to protect the safety of the public’s health. Due to this casual sharing of the breast milk a child can get ill with HIV or hepatitis.

Sakamoto said that the Internet and the ease of collecting and storing milk make tracking of the sales tough. Jennifer Laycock, founder of The Lactivist, a Web log on breast-feeding aid that is impossible to prevent to people from holding conversation. The main reason behind the increase in breast milk sales is that the studies show that human breast milk is better for babies than manufactured formula. A number of premature babies, some as young as 24 weeks, are kept alive by advanced medical interventions such as this.
