I am aiming to relocate to the West Coast after grad school. I give myself to 2015. That's graduation + 2 years. I hope to do it sooner. If you can't pay for it with cash, then you don't need it. Credit was created so you can enjoy the better things now, instead of having to wait to save for it later. The credit bureaus owe you nothing, they're only there for convenience.
