The problem is the word 'Racism' doesn't mean anything today. The 19th century definition doesn't describe race relations today. The 20th century racial struggle is different than the struggle we're in now. Racism shouldn't be part of the debate until it has a clear distinct meaning until then the word should be taken off the table completely.

The majority of white people DID NOT vote for Barack Obama.

The ‘white mind’ has been conditioned in AmeriKKKa to believe that a ‘good-ol’ high school dropout, white-boy country bumpkin, plucking cow chips from his boot soles is more suited to be President of the United States than Barack Hussein Obama.

In 2008 Obama received 43% of the white vote. Obama got the highest percentage of white votes--43%--of any Democrat candidate since Bill Clinton managed to get 44% in 1996. John Kerry (2004) and Al Gore (2000) managed just 41% and 42% respectively.

RepubliKlans were stunned. Obama, a Black candidate with the ‘scary’ sounding name got a greater percentage of the white vote than white guys Gore & Kerry.

What to do????

RepubliKlans only play was to double-down on racism ; constantly try to delegitimize his presidency.

The RepubliKlans have reasserted their ‘southern strategy’ with an intensity not seen since the hate from the southern slave states projected against Abraham Lincoln during the 1860 election cycle.

The United States is now (2011) in a ‘civil-cold-war’. The outcome will determine what type of country the US is in the near future.

Tea Party Group Calls ‘Half Black, Half White’ Obama A Skunk

ibtqCUdgDHAvwL.jpg

"It is half black, half white, and almost everything it does, stinks,"

by David Taintor | December 12, 2011 |

A Kansas tea party group is saying “pee-eww” to President Obama.

Patriot Freedom Alliance, a tea party group in Hutchinson, Kansas, made a statement on its website recently, depicting Obama as a skunk.

“It is half black, half white, and almost everything it does, stinks,” the site reads, according to a screen grab posted by The Hutchinson News. The skunk depiction has been replaced with an abridged biography of Newt Gingrich.

The group’s webmaster, Thomas Hymer, told the The Hutchinson News the statement was just political satire, saying Sarah Palin has been subjected to worse attacks. But Hutchinson chapter NAACP president Darrell Pope suggests the message carries racial overtones.

Of course, this isn’t the first race-titnted gibe at Obama. Over the Summer, Rush Limbaugh suggested a new chocolate-vanilla Oreo cookie should be rebranded the “Obameo.”

Bain Owned Clear Channel Loses $424 Million In 2012

Rush Limbaugh Dragging Entire Company Down The Drain

Feb. 24, 2013

Buried on the business page of mysanantonio.com this week, so brief you could easily have missed it, was the news that Clear Channel Media Holdings just reported losses for the last quarter of 2012 of $191 million, and $424 million for all of 2012.

Clear Channel has been in trouble for a long time for a variety of reasons, but one factor that contributed to their losses in 2012 was the death spiral of their golden boy radio host Rush Limbaugh.

Just shy of a year ago, Limbaugh launched a cruel 3 day attack on Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke, following her testimony before a Congressional panel regarding health care and birth control. His advertisers have been heading for the doors ever since, thanks in large part to groups like The Flush Rush Facebook community and #StopRush Twitter. Here are the current number of sponsors who have voluntarily removed their ads from Limbaugh’s show:

Inactive Victory: Week = 35 Month = 247 Total = 2484

Clear Channel has been firing radio employees all year in an effort to stanch the bleeding—to no avail. Limbaugh has a $400 million contract which expires in 2016. The question now is whether Clear Channel will tolerate this albatross around its neck for that long.

Nothing New in the Ape Crack About Michelle Obama

michelleobama.jpg

by Earl Ofari Hutchinson | March 15, 2015 |

Silly, sick, demeaning cracks made by such as the canned Univision host Rodner Figueroa likening First Lady Michelle Obama to a Planet of the Apes character are not new. Four years ago, the then CEO of the Tennessee Hospitality Association, Walt Baker, took much heat and lost a lot of business for his marketing firm when he also likened the First Lady to a monkey. Four years later, a Belgian newspaper, De Morgen, went one, in fact, two better. Before Obama's visit to the Netherlands in March 2014, it ran a Photoshop picture that depicted both Michelle and President Obama as apes. De Morgen was not just your run of the mill far right, shrill racially xenophobic European newspaper. It purported to be a progressive newspaper. Yet, despite its alleged politically enlightened stance, it apparently saw no contradiction in its ape imagery of the president and Michelle. In February 2009, New York Post cartoonist Sean Delonas ignited a firestorm with his casual depiction of President Obama as a monkey.

In the nearly five years between Baker and Figueroa's idiotic pop-offs, with De Morgen sandwiched in between, the depiction, pillorying and vile spoofery of the Obamas as apes, monkeys and gorillas in the pack of race baiting websites, chat rooms, college frat parties, and student websites in assorted offbeat, crude, vile cartoons has become standard fare. That's not an accident.

The long, sordid and savage history of racist stereotyping of African-Americans has been the stock in trade of race baiting and racial ridicule for more than century. A few grotesque book titles from a century ago, such as The Negro, a Beast; The Negro, a Menace to American Civilization; and The Clansman depicted blacks as apes, monkeys, bestial, and animal-like. The image stuck in books, magazines, journals, and deeply colored the thinking of many Americans of that day... that day?

In the movie version of Rudyard Kipling children's classic, The Jungle Book, the Disney Studios in 1967 graduated from the other standard animal depiction of African-Americans as black crows to depicting African-Americans as the monkey like jive, gibberish blathering King Louie. The film was remade in 1994.

Black personalities and notables have been special targets of the ape and monkey taunts and digs. Jackie Robinson was regularly taunted by opponents with monkey gestures and gibes. Black basketball greats Patrick Ewing and Michael Jordan were ridiculed in cartoons as apes. And it's become a virtual ritual for white fans to toss banana peels at black soccer players in Europe

The vile ape characterization of blacks is much more than a passing fancy of cranks, haters and unreconstructed bigots. In 2007, Penn State researchers conducted six separate studies and found that many Americans still link blacks with apes and monkeys. Many of them were young and had absolutely no knowledge of the vicious stereotyping of blacks of years past. Their findings with the provocative title "Not Yet Human: Implicit Knowledge, Historical Dehumanization and Contemporary Consequences," in the February 2008 issue of Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, was published by the American Psychological Association.

The overwhelming majority of the participants in the studies bristled at the faintest hint that they had any racial bias. But the animal savagery image and blacks was very much on their minds. The researchers found that participants -- and that included even those with no stated prejudices or knowledge of the historical images -- were quicker to associate blacks with apes than they were to associate whites with apes.

This was not simply a dry academic exercise. The animal association and blacks has had devastating real life consequences. In hundreds of news stories from 1979 to 1999 the Philadelphia Inquirer was much more likely to describe African Americans than Whites convicted of capital crimes with ape-relevant language, such as "barbaric," "beast," "brute," "savage" and "wild." And jurors in criminal cases were far more likely to judge blacks more harshly than whites, and regard them and their crimes as savage, bestial and heinous, and slap them with tougher sentences than whites.

First Lady Michelle Obama is a woman, a black woman, and has been a repeated soft target for the frustrations and even scorn of the Obama loathers. During the 2008 presidential campaign, Obama opponents eagerly latched onto out-of-context statement she made at a campaign rally in which she allegedly questioned her faith in America, and made a supposedly less than reverential reference to the flag. They brutally tarred her as a closet anti-American, race-obsessed, black radical. That made her an instant campaign liability. For weeks, she virtually disappeared from the campaign trail.

During her years in the White House, Michelle's public acclaim and notoriety as a popular and much admired and respected First Lady has grown. This is too much for some. Figueroa was the latest to show that. In the process, he again showed there is nothing new in the ape slur of a president and his wife.

Mayor in West Virginia resigns after racist Obama post

Charlottenburg palace on June 19, 2013 in Berlin, Germany.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A West Virginia mayor resigned her post Tuesday following a backlash after she posted a response to a racist comment about first lady Michelle Obama on Facebook.

The Clay Town Council accepted Mayor Beverly Whaling's resignation in a meeting late Tuesday afternoon and said it would act quickly to name a replacement for the remaining three years of her term.

Council member Jason Hubbard issued a brief statement condemning the "horrific" post and said "racial intolerance isn't what this community is about." He apologized on behalf of the town to anyone who is offended, including Michelle Obama.

Clay County Development Corp. director Pamela Ramsey Taylor made the post following Republican Donald Trump's election as president, saying: "It will be refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady in the White House. I'm tired of seeing a Ape in heels."

Whaling responded: "Just made my day Pam."

Taylor told WCHS-TV on Monday night that she was put on leave.

Meanwhile, Whaling issued a written apology to news media outlets saying that her comment wasn't intended to be racist.

"I was referring to my day being made for change in the White House! I am truly sorry for any hard feeling this may have caused! Those who know me know that I'm not in any way racist!"

Taylor did not return a call seeking comment.

The post, first reported by WSAZ-TV, has caused a backlash and prompted calls for Taylor and Mayor Whaling to be fired. The post was shared hundreds of times on social media before it was deleted. The Facebook pages of Taylor and Whaling couldn't be found Monday.

The nonprofit Clay County Development Corp. provides services to elderly and low-income residents in Clay County. It is funded through state and federal grants and local fees. It is not affiliated with the town of Clay, which is about 50 miles east of Charleston.

Owens Brown, director of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People's West Virginia chapter, is among those calling for the removal of both women.

"I feel it's so unfortunate that people still have these racist undertones," Brown said. "Unfortunately, this is a reality that we are dealing with in America today. There's no place for these types of attitudes in our state."

African-Americans make up about 4 percent of West Virginia's 1.8 million residents, according to the U.S. Census.

About 77 percent of Clay County residents supported Trump in the Nov. 8 election. In 2012, President Barack Obama received 31 percent of the county vote when Republican Mitt Romney easily carried the state.

Last week in Kentucky, Republican Dan Johnson defeated incumbent Democrat Linda Belcher in Bullitt County in a race for the state House of Representatives, despite a series of posts he put on Facebook depicting President Barack Obama and his wife as monkeys. Republican officials, including likely new House Speaker Jeff Hoover, had called on Johnson to drop out of the race. But Hoover declared last week that Johnson would be "welcome in our caucus."
