3 kids & sold his Manhattan apt for 5 million to pay off IRS. Shaky finances and your wife leaving you or left you. More time and probably a little more will come out of course.
If he was dealing with some mental issues I am pretty sure people around him & co-workers will able to talk about seeing signs of it. First hand experience in my life with family members. You still have moments of clarity & not seeking help w/ 3 kids relying on you is the ultimate selfish act.

I am completely and utterly shocked...
this dude was central to my development in music and hip hop culture.
I hope that the TRUTH comes to light...
however if this truly is self inflicted its a shame our community is so ignorant on this topic.
This sounds fishy. It's hard to see a man killing himself when he has 5 kids to live for no matter how much debt he was in or female relationship problems he had.

One of my friends is a psychologist and she did a lot of research on suicide. Once she told me that much more women attempt suicide, but they use less lethal methods and are unsuccessful most of the times. However less men attempt, but they are more successful because they use more lethal methods. Basically women will takes pills or cut their wrists, while men will use a gun or jump from a bridge or building.
RIP to dude. As I'm sure is already noted, he was an innovator and facilitated a lot business both credited and unnoticed, behind the scenes. His intro into the industry is an interesting story. I'm sure we'll here more positive things from the peoples' lives he's enhanced.

did you guys ever have a girl say they wanted to kill themselves after you let it be known that you couldnt be with them any more?? That shit is real and scary and those with the right means and in the wrong state of mind will actually go through with it. If he was as shook up about the divorce, I can see some shit like this happening.
Emotions are a hard thing to over come. and I think that in that lifestyle, yea you can get all the ASS you want, but sometimes you need that rock that was there for you no matter was going on and he probably felt truly empty without her...

I think everyone is overlooking the fact that this guy should of had his finances in order. Everybody at first was like it's no way he could be broke. I think this dude got caught up in that lifestyle. In his business you don't have a steady income unless the people you manage or discover are blowing up. The IRS is having a witch hunt rappers and people involved in hiphop, black entertainers period.
I don't think this dude was murdered we need to stop creating boogiemen. I think his situation steam rolled IRS divorce having to pay ex wife child and living support. Plus NO new money consistently rolling in. The entertainment industry is like a drug and eventually it will destroy you, unless you see it for what it is.
