Most movies depict the dreams and fantasies of Black women, loving and marrying the "Morris Chestnut" type white collar brother in the movies. In real life is that how y'all roll?
I guess my point is some blue collar cats are knocking down 70k while some white collar professional brothers are getting 40k-50k.. but he does have a white collar job...does occupation mean that much to you?
is it status? such as, you dont want to bring him into your educated circle of friends? sorta like the movie/book Disappearing Acts.. a Franklin type, but not illogical as his character was. or do you just rather a suit & tie type brotha?

That ain't helping our peoples mayne.
So skeptical. I like a man that can change my tire and hang a shelf. Dream man = a scholarly carpenter or mechanic...or a non-bug shit crazy artist/writer type (sadly a lot of them are insane, but perhaps that's the price of greatness). I find men that work on cars very sexy for some reason. Occupation has nothing to do with whether a man can carry himself or fit in in a diverse group of people. Just don't be crazy, have basic table manners, and talk about the things you know, listen if you don't know.
Just be a good man, intelligent, and not crazy. We will be ok!

I wish they would realize they are nothing more than pawns.
