Pusha T Response to Drake: The Story of Adidon

rambo-1982-film-rcm1200x627u.jpg

John Rambo said in 82 ....THEY DREW FIRST BLOOD.
Ain’t no rules after that it’s kill or be killed

Drake being treated like a helpless white woman.

Pusha T is going down in the books. Not only beat drizzy (easy), but he beat the whole industry. Doesn't need sales. Cobra clutch. Plea coppin.

And all that venom is not necessarily genre specific. R&B, rap and all the other vultures out there. Take the paint off. Yeeeeahh!

surprised I thought you would had a comment on Drake industry godfather getting THAT involved...

making THREATS involved.
thats not a threat - its not even tension...
Prince was being selectively critical of the choices made so far

Just protecting his investment
Pusha kept it professional initially
Drake tossed a stone from a glass house period

If you shoot a shot
We can't be mad if a cat you just shot at shoots back at you period

The shot is the disrespect
After that it's retaliation

Thats it in a nut shell.

Y'all think J Prince really feels like Drake is family? He is a cash cow that is bleeding at the moment. They are working on that Adidas rebrand right now.. If anything Prince will negotiate the behind the scenes white flag at this point. Im glad this happened, it really exposes Drake who is one of the leaders of the new school trains of thought. Money over everything, no integrity. He has been exposed and is looking like a new born baby right now. Who was he exposed by?

Old school, real MC, very unassuming if you are not up on him or his history, spitting the same since day one, same subject matter, associated with the life he talks about. Did well for himself without jeopardizing his brand and essentially selling his soul. I was always a fan, but when his verse in Me Too 'These are the days of our lives and Im sorry to the Fans but them Crackers wasn't playing fair at Jive' In the video they had target one the white boys.

I don't like his association with Ye cause I think he is a weirdo but more or less fame made him crazy. Push handles those question with grace as well, so its like man I cant help go man Im glad a cat who seems to be authentic mash out this dude who been faking the funk.

I don't see how this whole diss shit is positive or productive in any way for anyone. It seems like we haven't learned from 20 years ago. This is gonna get so personal that someone's gonna get physically hurt. We've got a lot more important things to deal with.

What rap beef got someone hurt 20 years ago?

o_O
you just lost any credibility to chop it up on hiphop

Actually you all did.
You want to say Pac but what "Rap Beef" got Pac killed?
I'll wait...

What "Rap Beef" got BIG killed? I'll also wait...

Oh, it was that East Coast vs West Coast "Beef" that got them killed huh?

You took what I wrote completely the wrong way. You basically said I was soft because I thought going after 40 in that way was wack. I was saying you really need to know me to know that. And being willing to say anything or agree with what Push did doesn't make you hard. It wasn't about the rules of battle rap. You really don't see how him talking about Ye was relevant to his point? Ye produced the damn track that Pusha is on talking about a nigga having writers. Y'all muthafuckas talking about war and rules of engagement like these two niggas really gonna shoot it out. This shit is a battle of word play. Again, over their history in music Push has shown he is better at wordplay than Drake, but to me this shit was cheap. Drake turned his own words around on him and was clever/funny and made good points. You think joking about that man dying was clever af? Push had to go straight mediatakeout, gossip ass shit to make niggas go ooh, damn he got him. It basically all boils down to the black face picture and the secret son. too much of what he said is not anything he could know..like whether or not he's been a deadbeat. Most of the song was cheap imo. ...especially the cheap shot at 40. It's like when you are insulting someone and they don't really have anything to come back with so they say, "your mama". I agree that Push needed to go all the way in..but this is not it to me. For example. I had no problem with Pac saying you claim to be a player, but I fucked your wife...because I don't know the facts..but if Pac really didn't fuck Faith and only took a picture with her..then to me that's hoe shit to lie on your dick like that. But to each his own. If y'all say anything and everything goes, then so be it. We are all entitled to our opinions.

If you REALLY think "The Story of Adidon" was cheap, we don't need to speak any further.

Do you.

just be quiet son - the list of people hurt due to rap beef squabin, industry / street shit (being jumped robbed kidnapped to being killed) is much longer than Big n Pac
it existed before them and continues to today

I think Pusha did it defensively....he felt that the lyric wasn't particularly deep or ill....so why did drake use it? he figured Drake was being Cute using her name, just to let it be known that he knows his fiancee and/or might be coming back with some dirt on her in his response....similar to how Jay dropped the "cause you know who did you know what with you know who....lets just keep that between me and you"

So he came back and outed Drakes relationship and whoopsie baby with the soft porn slut premptively....that most likely trumps anything Drake has on his fiancee

overall I think the Drake Track is actually better than Pushes when it comes to strictly sonics...production, wordplay, rebuttals to the initial track, replay value etc. Pushas had more shock value, but I was dissapointed in the actual spitting, being a Pusha T fan I expected him to have better bars. The tabloid expose and narrative being driven was strong though..
Drake’s track was fucking wack. And why are you guys talking hip hop around around some dude was in black face? Drake should get beat the fuck down whenever he shows his face.

That’s some nutt shit.

You be quieter little buddy, he said "20 Years Ago" insinuating Pac & BIG and that premise was wrong.

For those feeling rap beefs are wrong you don't understand hip hop and it's origin.
NYC was full of gangs all Thru the 5 Boros. To stop the killing of each other Zulu nation originally the black spades from Bronx river projects suggested battling in the form of hip hop instead of knives and guns to resolve the issues. And the gangs became crews.
PAC was more than rap beef. Suges man was killed by diddy body gaurd over a chick. And PAC jus got involved wit grimey street Niccas

I “Tried” to let them know that their deaths weren’t “Rap” beef related but I was told I know nothing about Hip Hop

There’s nothing wrong with beef, Drake just getting served and he doesn’t know how to handle it.

nah - thats a really wise warning

pigs can't stay with hogs
pigs are kept but hogs get slaughtered

stay in your lane
Not even a warning. Jus gangster saying. Jus don't stoop down to ur enemies level. Maybe he mixed up the saying cause supreme to Irv gotta the same saying about 50 cent. But it went a lil different
