Pusha T Response to Drake: The Story of Adidon

Again this is just my opinion and my character. It was said that Pusha didn't give her a ring and that was a play on words as far as Drake letting his name ring out..or he maybe he did give her a ring and it was still a play on words. Now even if that is not the case. The man didn't say he fucked her..didn't say she was ugly..all he did was say her name. If y'all think that him clowning a really sick dude on the sidelines is the equivalent or falls under the category of eye for an eye..that's your business. Shit is not clever or gangsta to me. It didn't even fit in the song and was a low blow for no reason. I'm also not saying anyone is wrong to think that there's nothing wrong with what Push said. We just have a different code and difference of opinion.

He's not on the sidelines. His letter head was used to mock Push with a phoney invoice and now 4Tay is doing that to them. He produced Drake's music, and must have approved the diss track. What Push did was in good taste, and great with the word play. This is 90's hip hop with Pac level of disrespect and I want MORE!!

I don't need to know you to understand the rules of engagement in hip hop. They've spoken for themselves since the beginning.

Ironically enough, it made perfect sense, had no less to do with the battle than the Canadian going after Ye, and was clever af. In fact, it was probably one of the most clever lines in the entire song.

But because it doesn't meet your "tough guy" criteria, it's somehow not viable?

Cool.
You took what I wrote completely the wrong way. You basically said I was soft because I thought going after 40 in that way was wack. I was saying you really need to know me to know that. And being willing to say anything or agree with what Push did doesn't make you hard. It wasn't about the rules of battle rap. You really don't see how him talking about Ye was relevant to his point? Ye produced the damn track that Pusha is on talking about a nigga having writers. Y'all muthafuckas talking about war and rules of engagement like these two niggas really gonna shoot it out. This shit is a battle of word play. Again, over their history in music Push has shown he is better at wordplay than Drake, but to me this shit was cheap. Drake turned his own words around on him and was clever/funny and made good points. You think joking about that man dying was clever af? Push had to go straight mediatakeout, gossip ass shit to make niggas go ooh, damn he got him. It basically all boils down to the black face picture and the secret son. too much of what he said is not anything he could know..like whether or not he's been a deadbeat. Most of the song was cheap imo. ...especially the cheap shot at 40. It's like when you are insulting someone and they don't really have anything to come back with so they say, "your mama". I agree that Push needed to go all the way in..but this is not it to me. For example. I had no problem with Pac saying you claim to be a player, but I fucked your wife...because I don't know the facts..but if Pac really didn't fuck Faith and only took a picture with her..then to me that's hoe shit to lie on your dick like that. But to each his own. If y'all say anything and everything goes, then so be it. We are all entitled to our opinions.

stop being so moist dog.
pusha mentioned drake and his dealings no family or friends
drake responded throwing slick shit at his fiancee and talking about his producer
so pusha responded talking about his producer and his "beyonce"

you probably need to sit this one out. you not built for rap.
Like I said previously..saying I'm soft..moist or whatever the fuck, dumb ass way y'all want to put it..just because I thought the jab at 40 was irrelevant and cheap..is automatically saying that y'all are hard or ruthless just because you think the bars are ok to rap. And if that's the kind of shit that determines how hard you are, then I'm from a different planet than y'all niggas.

I think Pusha did it defensively....he felt that the lyric wasn't particularly deep or ill....so why did drake use it? he figured Drake was being Cute using her name, just to let it be known that he knows his fiancee and/or might be coming back with some dirt on her in his response....similar to how Jay dropped the "cause you know who did you know what with you know who....lets just keep that between me and you"

So he came back and outed Drakes relationship and whoopsie baby with the soft porn slut premptively....that most likely trumps anything Drake has on his fiancee

overall I think the Drake Track is actually better than Pushes when it comes to strictly sonics...production, wordplay, rebuttals to the initial track, replay value etc. Pushas had more shock value, but I was dissapointed in the actual spitting, being a Pusha T fan I expected him to have better bars. The tabloid expose and narrative being driven was strong though..

That's what I thought. But maybe since Drake was in such an untouchable place as far as Pop culture, hits, sales etc. Push knew he had to come with something other than straight bars. Plus Drake seems to have a real talent for putting together dis records and making them seem like a real record that just happens to have the dis in them. General fans don't even care that the man had Ghost writers. Normally some shit like that would be a deathblow. But in Drake's space it's not. That shit would only kill someone like Jay or Nas because of their status as Goat MCs. So Push had to go find a niggas bm. And I don't care what niggas say. Push had that knowledge about the baby before Duppy. He was going to say it even if Drake never mentioned Virginia because he has to, to stay in this battle. I agree with what you said about his fiancee too...unless Drake slept with her..that pretty much Trumps anything and everything. But if that was the case, she would have told Push by now and Push would have called of the battle..or killed her

so why can't pusha bring up the nigga that produces and crafts most of drake track's by your own logic lol
like i said maybe rap just isn't for you.
it's ok.
go back and listen to more life and sip on a harvey wallbanger

I don't see how this whole diss shit is positive or productive in any way for anyone. It seems like we haven't learned from 20 years ago. This is gonna get so personal that someone's gonna get physically hurt. We've got a lot more important things to deal with.

It's not going that far
And people have beef across all genres of music
This isn't new or old it's natural
We can walk and chew gum.

man, this beef is really exposing Drake as like a really big douche. He don't stand for nothing. No morals. Selling his soul for money. Mocking black folk with the blackface, and lying about it when it surfaced. On top of that he has this nice guy facade that Push really exposed. His character really is all fucked up. And all the Drake Stans are still just riding with him.

Sometimes your opponents just happen to throw low blows. For example, look at what LL said to Ice-T in the To da break of dawn:

How dare you stand beside me?
I'm Cool, I freeze I-C-E
On your trail, and I'm a cut that bull tail
You're disobedient with the wrong ingredients
But I'm a drink you down over the rocks

While the freak on your album cover jocks
You're gonna hear a real ill paragraph soon
I took the cover right home to the bathroom
In the immortal words of L.L., 'hard as hell'
Your broad wears it well
She's the reason that your record sold a few copies

But your rhymes are sloppy
Like Oscar, and you're bound to get dropped
And stopped, I ain't Murray the cop
Nor am I Felix, but I got a bag of tricks
Mr. Pusherman, gimme a fix
So I can show you I'm immune to them Romper Room tunes
You little hip-hop racoon

LL brought her into it. Tupac took it to the extreme on a whole nother level with mentioning Faith as well. Rappers sometimes go after associates and loved ones who are within one degree of separation of their target in diss songs. Then it becomes a different playing field once it goes there.

"Roxanne Shante is only good for steady fucking."

More bitchmade moves from Drake's camp. He can't win the battle straight-up. So, this nigga's releasing statements, having OVO tweet about his disability for sympathy and now J Prince is talking tough on his behalf as a warning shot to punk Pusha. This shit is comical as fuck, considering its Drake who brought in family first when he mentioned that man's fiance and brother. Fuck outta here.

Bridge is Over is a great example... KRS went after the entire Juice Crew not just Marley n Shan

Man fuck what he thinks. He caping for Drake.

:lol:It is surprising, watching people copping pleas for drake. He started with the bringing in family in the diss tracks first. Even though it wasn't directed toward the fiance.

John Rambo said in 82 ....THEY DREW FIRST BLOOD.
Ain’t no rules after that it’s kill or be killed

Drake being treated like a helpless white woman.
