Prince Harry will return to the U.K. for the first time since he and Meghan Markle moved to California in March 2020, in order to attend the funeral service of his grandfather, Prince Philip. Prince Philip died on April 9 at the age of 99, and Harper’s Bazaar reports that the Duke of Sussex will be “following COVID-19 protocols for travel,” but Markle will not accompany him because she is pregnant and “did not receive medical clearance from her physician.” Prince Philip’s royal ceremonial funeral will take place on April 17 after eight days of national mourning, according to the BBC. A spokesperson for the palace told the news service, “Whilst this is a time of sadness and mourning the coming days will be an opportunity to celebrate a remarkable life.” The ceremony will be televised, and members of the public have been asked not to gather to view the funeral or the military procession in an effort to avoid mass crowding amidst the ongoing coronavirus. In light of their grandfather’s death, Prince William will no longer deliver a speech at the BAFTA awards on Sunday, Variety confirmed.

John Oliver Has the Last Laugh About Prince Philip
By Devon Ivie@devonsaysrelax

With the United Kingdom still in its eight-day national mourning period after the death of Prince Philip, John Oliver, a noted detractor of the royal family, seems to want everyone to remember one particular thing about that Windsor rapscallion. Taking a verbal detour on Sunday’s episode of Last Week Tonight, Oliver reminisced about how exactly Philip was an ideal suitor for Queen Elizabeth prior to their 1946 wedding, and it involved … genetics.

“In the U.K., Prince Philip died, which is a tragedy if you don’t know a single thing about him. And even if you know a little bit about him, you might not know this,” Oliver cracked, showing a now-viral clip of a British newsman admitting Philip and Elizabeth were related. (They are, specifically, third cousins from Queen Victoria’s lineage.) “Yeah, it’s true,” Oliver added.

“Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth are cousins who later got married — also known as a Giuliani meet-cute.” That Community writer surely must feel vindicated now.

A lot of "Dark Secrets" will pass with him, "if" there was any Royal involvement in Princess Diana's death this is the man who would have signed off on it, and plenty of other deniable operations.

Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth II's husband, has died aged 99, Buckingham Palace has announced.
Buckingham Palace said: "It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
"His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle."
Boris Johnson said he "inspired the lives of countless young people".
Speaking at Downing Street, the prime minister added: "He helped to steer the Royal Family and the monarchy so that it remains an institution indisputably vital to the balance and happiness of our national life."
Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said she was "saddened" by the death of the Duke.
She tweeted: "I send my personal and deepest condolences - and those of scotgov and the people of Scotland - to Her Majesty The Queen and her family."
The prince married Princess Elizabeth in 1947, five years before she became Queen, and was the longest-serving royal consort in British history.
In March, the Duke of Edinburgh left hospital after a month-long stay for treatment.
He underwent a procedure for a pre-existing heart condition at another London hospital - St Bartholomew's.
Prince Philip and the Queen had four children, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Their first son, the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, was born in 1948, followed by his sister, the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, in 1950, the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, in 1960 and the Earl of Wessex, Prince Edward, in 1964.
Prince Philip was born on the Greek island of Corfu on 10 June 1921.
His father was Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark, a younger son of King George I of the Hellenes.
His mother, Princess Alice, was a daughter of Lord Louis Mountbatten and a great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria.

How does one become a King in this scheme? How is it that Philip's title wasn't the King? When Liz kicks the bucket, will Charles then become a king or remain a prince? *Edit...I found the answer on the last page.

Philip looked like a corpse in the back of the limo when he left the hospital. He looked like they were waiting for the right time to announce his passing.

You can only be a King if you are born a Prince and in line to the thrown. A woman who marries a King maybe a Queen but when the King dies and her offspring take the throne she becomes the King/Queen mother. But Prince Phillip was already a Prince, of the Greek Royal family and Danish Royal family before he married Princess Elizabeth in 1947. When her father died in February 1952, Elizabeth became head of the Commonwealth and queen regnant of seven independent Commonwealth countries: the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan, and Ceylon.

Yeah he did look rough in a photo I saw of him in the back of a car a few weeks back. I blame it on lockdown, as a result their are less people on the street so finding virgins for them to drink the blood of just became to much hard work.

Did you know that prince Phillip was worshipped as a god by some black people in a village somewhere

Lol you found it lol
And this ain't even the original one that I saw. When you mentioned it, I remembered seeing a video from Vox or somewhere. This was just one of the ones that popped up when I searched for it. :smh:
