Power put 50 on the map. And to me the character he played reminds me of him. I have been around people with that same mentality. And that is the way they be.
Also Power came out before empire. And it is much better than empire. But empire did put "THE NATION OF ISLAM" in it. I wonder will 50 cent put any nationalist thought in power. I myself wished I could talk to him personally. What he have here is some attention. And their is a lot of things that people are not aware of and it can come out in real news movies, shows etc. I do understand that if it do it will be attacked by the powerful and the real people that run America and damn near the entire world.
Some things are real. Ghost is facing revaluation in his life. There are the streets wanting to keep control of his soul. And there is the lady he is having an affair with that is taking his soul away from the realness a lady with blackness and away from himself without him seeing it. And his partner in the game is a white boy (devil). Now a devil brother is hot on his trail. Things like this happen every day in real life. I know what I am talking about. It is real.
With the white business devil taking power and control from him. This is definitely real life. All over the world blacks are programmed to work and bring the money and resources of the world into white control. Success is given to a few to help mislead the many. As for black power and freedom. If we do not see a way out, we should not even think next generation should see a way out.

This is why I like the Wire because the guys in the barksdale crew and Marlo had some intelligence. Even Slim Charles (muscle) was smart. If Ghost is running NY you would think his right hand man would have some intelligence, Tommy is just stupid. I guess I just expected more, but I'm gonna still watch.
It seems like Kanann is always a step ahead of Ghost (and like 10 steps ahead of Tommy) and I think that's going to be the narrative for that story.
And maybe the one time Ghost was actually ahead of Kanann, whatever happened that day, that's what landed Kanann in jail and that's why Kanann is trying to take out Ghost.
