@ when 50 face drop :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
that scene had me :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

It is a very face pace show (and I like that) I just hope they do not start throw in filler episodes to extend the series.

I agree with the father and son roles.

They could have chosen an older guy to play the father or a younger looking son.

I think if Ghost do kill Angela it will become more interesting.

I liked this season opener. Overlooking the ever-present awkward casting, I thought they did a good job of setting up a lot of interesting possibilities for this season. I thought the writing was choppy last season, but I think they're setting up a strong season two.

I was skeptical at the end of last year when they were setting up a larger season two role for 50 that he would distract from the show, but I think his character, now back on the streets, is really going to add to the story.

Nice opener. Angela may end up saving Ghost. Being that she's off the case and they keep saying Lobos is like serial killer dangerous not just a connect. 50 needing Ghost connect is the only thing I dont get

What I never understood was that if Ghost is the biggest dealer in the city....since when does a kingpin have to go beg street dudes to take his product?

And they need to keep tommy to only doing action scenes and tough talk. His emotional side is terrible acting.

He does it all the time. He does a lot corner boy shit. I could see it was like the Wire and he was just the man in his hood. But you are the biggest dealer in the biggest city in America and you have to personally go to the basketball court and recruit connects? Even Stringer and Avon didn't have to catch their own bodies.

Ghost is Just a wholesaler.ghost and tommy dont have a big organization they only deliver coke to the gangs and he and tommy handle the muscle end. As far as meeting the gang leaders its a double edged sword in that limit your exposure so only you and the he know what is being said .but you have to risk being seen with them

That's the part that makes it so odd. Any corner boy, especially one running a crew, you would think, would at least be known to local law enforcement and could be at any time under some type of surveillance. Being seen in broad daylight with him on a wide open basketball court with all kinds of sightlines seems like an unnecessary risk at best, and foolish at worse for a character named Ghost.

Not to mention he didn't seem to make any attempt to blend in, just casually rolling up in a finely tailored suit.

Exactly. When Ghost met with that dude on the ball-court, in broad daylight, I wondering that too

Good start.

Tommy was right to feel how he felt. Did the right things for once but now his world is shattered.

Tasha found out... she knows what's up. Ghost is going to actually have to kill her for her to stay now.

Angela...good. she was bad at her job.

50...playing himself in the show.

50's son... shouldn't be in the game. they should've made sure he finished college got a job and shit.. cause this street stuff ain't work out for him.

You can tell 50 tried to do the right thing and keep him away from it all that stuff.. it ain't in him. this is what it would look like if weebay was home and naymond was all grown up.

its not a have to. its a want to.

usually it would be tommy and not him but desperate times calls for desperate measures.

he grew up there
its not odd to have someone from a place come back to it regardless.

and also you're overestimating the resources being used to track these dudes.
i doubt that crew has its own local task force trying to take it down.

The odds were in his favor that he could slip in and out, just saying it's an odd move for a player in his position. I'm not saying local cops track every dope boy in the area, but at the very least, you know the dude he went to talk to had a jacket and local cops knew him by name, so it's risk nonetheless and one I'm still not sure I buy Ghost taking given his position.

You rolling up in that attire, couldn't see the shoes too clear, but I bet they cost a grip, you know damn well he sticks out like a sore thumb and would definitely have his picture taken on the off chance there was anyone out there on a stakeout.

At the very least, the wide open location in broad daylight like that definitely seems like something he would avoid at all cost.

that was the best one to me..

Maybe its just me but I just couldn't take Losing Isaiah seriously as a street character.
I just kept seeing this face during his entire scene with Ghost.

He sticks out sure but unless there is an actual war going on ain't nobody cracking down like that.. you saw the wire fam lol.

if the bodies not dropping they're fine letting the drugs flow.

when they start dropping what Burrell say? "Time to put dope and guns on the table"

Five days after Power returned with a record-setting ratings surge in its second-season premiere, Starz has renewed the drama starring and executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson for Season 3.

On Saturday, the Season 2 premiere drew 1.43 million viewers, making it the network’s most-watched original series season debut. It was up 209% from its Season 1 debut in June 2014 and 32% from the Season 1 finale in August. Over all plays on the weekend, the Season 2 bow brought in 3.62 million viewers — the most watched original series episode ever for the channel.

Power is from CBS TV Studios and executive producers Jackson, Mark Canton and Randall Emmett. Created/executive produced by Courtney Kemp Agboh, it centers on wealthy New York City nightclub owner James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), who is living a double life as a drug kingpin.

Seriously they better kill that can't act white chick, she couldn't even play scene when all it called for was closing your damn eyes. She had to have fucked someone to get that role.:smh:

Finally caught up. I dig the show. A lot less dramatic than Empire, which I appreciate.

The story could've use some polishing, but I bucks with it.

I think Ghost pussy-whipped ass is going to admit to Angela about the drug game, she's going to use him to get back on the Lobos case, and she's going to want him to snitch on Lobos so he can get his time cut or go in witness protection so he can go legit with the club thing and he won't do it because Tasha wants him to stay in the drug game or she'll leave him and take all his dough, maybe even rat him out.

I also think Lobos is a fag.
