I think rose is actually decent but he be going off the rails with it
He's 'decent' but I think the perspective of him by some is he's not 'decent' but he's gonna somehow morph into 2011 D Rose... I think in spurts he is a great pick up, but if they expect him to do heavy lifting, it may not end well for them...

I got a 4 way that works. It's Cry me to the Spurs, LA to NY, Mello to the Cavs, Love to the Blazers, Evan Tyrner and Parker to the Spurs, and the spurs Absorb JR with Ed Davis going to the spurs to make it work. Cavs loose/dump the guys Bronze doesn't want and go for broke with an old school squad

This one works for everyone involved

All of those trades are shit.. LIke ive said from jump, the best deal wouyld have to be a 3 team trade with Phoenix and San Antonio.

Cavs get: Bledsoe, Danny Green, Murray and 1st pick from suns/spurs
Spurs get: Kyrie and eat JR Smith or Shump deal
Suns get: Aldridge, Shump or JR Smith
That would be a great deal but spurs ain't doing that shit

The Warrior will only be together one or two more season. This is chess not checkers. The Warrior I'm sure are looking ahead too.
All their players on under contract for ay least 2 more except KD; and u think they gonna let KD walk? U think they gonna let green and klay walk? :hmm: These Mofos Just got 300 mill and didn't do anything; they owners will continue to pay the players watch....

The problem with this lineup honestly is, as good as the names look on paper, there isn't enough consistent defense. What people fail to realize is GS is an excellent defensive team. Plus, there is only on real facilitator and that's LeBron. Rose, Melo and Bledsoe need to be ball dominant to be effective where GS players get theirs in the flow of the offense.

Series would be fun to watch, but unfortunately, the skill sets that make Melo, D Rose and Bledsoe good players would eventually cancel each other out. No continuity or chemistry with this unit, just names.

LeBron would be back to having to do everything, including having to guard the other team's best player, and as offensively loaded as GS is, that would be a huge problem.
That lineup would get swept....

Only problem with this deal... Winslow is a younger Shumpert, can't shoot for shit, and Richardson is inconsistent, basically it would be Kyrie for Goran straight up an they need to get more offense as well. Two way type players are what they really need to keep pace with what is going on in the league right now in my opinion.
I don't think they need more scoring. Rose and Dragic would equal Kyrie scoring.

They need elite wing defenders to face Golden State. Going after more offense seems like over kill to me

That's why I said more two way players, not just one dimensional defenders. To take two players to equal Kyrie still leaves you at a deficit

It's not about what those players would equal though; kyrie is great in a secondary role plus he's so hard to guard; and that creates opportunities for his teammates; something that neither of those players can consistently do

The Timberwolves is the best trade but would they be stupid enough to do it.

If I was the Cavs I would take the Heat package.

Goran Dragic and have them package in Winslow and Josh Richardson

Goran would push the pace relentlessly and the Cavs would have two very good young wing defenders in Winslow and Richardson.

Richardson can also knock down the 3. They could then give the Warriors some issues as they would now have the scoring plus elite wing defenders with length who could switch anything

Heat Deny Offering Goran Dragic, Justise Winslow To Cavs For Kyrie Irving

The Miami Heat have denied making an offer of Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kyrie Irving.

In the wake of that report, the Heat took the rare step under the leadership of Pat Riley of publicly denying that any offer, of any sort, had been made for Irving.

The Heat believe the Cavaliers are asking for too much in exchange for Irving.

Irving has three years remaining on a contract that pays $18.9 million this coming season.

That's shocking
Not really. His deal becomes less terrible by the season. And as long as he isnt viewed as a franchise guy and has lowered expectations hes a good grab. Spurs expected him to be a #2 on contending team with #1 abilities.
I feel you but moving him in this deal leaves a huge void at his position
Not at all. Green falls in and out of rotation with Pop. They been trying to move him all year and i think this is the last year on his deal.

Damn so what is he now? Just a mid tier #2 guy at this point sheesh

No, I meant moving Aldridge in that deal. Wondering who they would move into the starting PF slot since they are only getting wing players
Oh. Gotcha. The Suns offered them a deal with Tyson Chandler earlier this summer reportedly. Maybe they would take him back or just use one of the bums on the bench they have now.

Let me ask if you had to lose ONE member of the current roster

I'm talking either steph klay dray Iggy or KD....

After winning a chip next year

Who would it be?

Splash bro together folk life....
Mouf probably more important that splash bro 2, iggy finals mvp before KD...so that's it for me

Iggy it's not even close

Everyone else you named play heavy minutes 82 games a year barring injury and heavy minutes in the playoffs
iggy is important and is also a relief pitcher he can come in and drop 20 points because he's probably taken about 10 contested jump shots in the past 3 playoff runs
it don't work without steph klay dray or kd.
and you can't make an argument that him starting in place of steph klay or kd would make the team BETTER or even the same.

No
I said the shit last year.
Barnes gets 16 shots at that point in his development he'll get you 17 points.
Iggy getting 16 shots a night at this point in his career gets you 20 max
kd getting 16 shots a night gets you 25+ guaranteed and especially if steph is on the court.
he has never had as many easy looks in his entire career

I'm just saying what y'all had pre-KD was elite in a sense...we saw shit we'd never thought we'd see...granted this year if things paly out right they might best that regular season win mark...
