He's 'decent' but I think the perspective of him by some is he's not 'decent' but he's gonna somehow morph into 2011 D Rose... I think in spurts he is a great pick up, but if they expect him to do heavy lifting, it may not end well for them...

D Rose only worked if Kyrie stayed, to be perfectly honest. As you said, he's great in spurts, so he would have been really good either coming off the bench or playing small ball with both him and Kyrie on the floor at times.

Lol no it wouldn't be.. That team is even more worst defensively than last year Cavs team; and it would be easier to guard also
No ball movement at all with that squad. The ball stops in Melo, Rose AND Bledsoe's hands... and everybody but LeBron is allergic to defense :smh:

Yea that's true but at this point they have to hope he can be productive. I think we'd gonna see a very motivated Lebron...I just wish ty lue comes with more heat by tweaking the scheme no matter who's there...

Dude is dam near automatic outta timeouts...o I know there's some knowledge on the staff...they just have to tweak the system to handle the top defenses in the league...

If your designed to complete with the top defense and scoring at a efficient rate, when u play lesser clubs you'd been ok...winning 60 games should be easy because everybody is comfortable in the movement and if one person steps away that don't crippled the offense but this has to come from the top to the bottom...
Gilbert needs to call lue then lie needs to has talk with his staff then they have a talk with the team....they should review every singe offense possession in the last three finals...

Just to let them know we won some plays and lost some play...things changed around us so we gonna change a few small angles and our approach to a degree...

Iggy it's not even close

Everyone else you named play heavy minutes 82 games a year barring injury and heavy minutes in the playoffs
iggy is important and is also a relief pitcher he can come in and drop 20 points because he's probably taken about 10 contested jump shots in the past 3 playoff runs
it don't work without steph klay dray or kd.
and you can't make an argument that him starting in place of steph klay or kd would make the team BETTER or even the same.

Ok I'll flip it

out of steph klay dray or kd.

if you HAVE to lose just ONE after a chip next year...

who is it and WHY?

(I can't believe I am saying this but I think you could probably replace Dray with a player who is at least 65% as good)

i doubt it. ain't about regular season anymore for them cats.

True but when your bench is strong and don't give up point that could easily happen and it should....adding swaggy p and casspi was nice addition....actually great adds...many folks might not know what omar brings tho...

Yeah that is dumb as shit.

Kyrie Irving Reportedly Went Consecutive Days Without Talking to Cavs Teammates

The divide between Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers extends to his fellow teammates after he reportedly went multiple days during the playoffs without speaking to them.

During an appearance on The BBall Breakdown Podcast (via Dan Feldman of NBC Sports), ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported former Cavs forward James Jones said he saw Irving "go consecutive days without speaking to a teammate at practice" between the first and second rounds of the NBA playoffs.

ESPN's Brian Windhorst reported in July that Irving met with Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert to request a trade because he wants to be "more of a focal point" and doesn't want to keep playing with LeBron James.

Windhorst also noted at the time Irving signed a five-year extension with the Cavs in 2014, he expected to be the "franchise player." James returned to Cleveland as a free agent shortly after Irving agreed to that deal.

There hasn't been any movement on a deal involving Irving since his trade request became public. Darren Wolfson of 1500 ESPN in Minneapolis (via Feldman) reported Aug. 4 the Phoenix Suns would be willing to include Eric Bledsoe, Dragan Bender and a 2018 first-round pick in a trade for Irving.

Irving was instrumental in helping the Cavaliers win the 2016 NBA championship. He hit the go-ahead three-pointer with less than one minute remaining in the fourth quarter of Game 7 against the Golden State Warriors.

The 25-year-old Irving set career highs last season with 25.2 points per game and a 47.3 field goal percentage.
