It is fucked up, BUT it's one of those things that you can't put a solution to other than let the woman decide.
Think about all the doors that would open if decisions were given to the man as well.
What if a man asked for an abortion to a baby that wasn't even his?
I get the financial argument, but ultimately and unfortunately it doesn't matter. I cant tell a woman what she should do with her body no more than a woman can tell me what I should do with mine. Yes, the difference is that she would be carrying the man child, but it's still her body.
This is why the arguments always go back to the decision to have sex in the first place.
I was once told "not to have sex with someone you don't want to have a baby with." While that is a difficult proverb to follow all the time, it makes sense when situtations like abortion comes up.

Or the men who have no intentions of being present for the child rearing but want to get revenge or punish her by making her carry and birth the child, and all the things that go along with it like lost wages, medical bills etc. They speak like only women can be shady...

No one is more right or wrong than the other. It's just a part of society that encompasses certain moralities that not everyone will agree with.

Humans love sex. We love it so much that our desires usually overcomes our conscious thinking. Even makes us irrational. On top of the many enhancers from drugs and alcohol to increase pleasure.
We lust for what we are sexually attracted to, but how many are really thinking about pregnancy when our desires are running high? It like fucking someone you probably wouldn't fuck, but sit with shame after the fact. In the moment not much matters. Only after the fact are we trying to figure out a solution to a problem that doesn't have one. That's why I will continue to say, let the woman have the decision.
Humans are complicated man. I don't expect us to ever figure out what's best for us because many of us have no accountability or even a clue.

And men who have no intentions of being with a woman long term shouldn't go raw period. If all of your power is taken AFTER you give her your seed, then hold all of the power BEFORE that and not give it to her.
I never had any problems with traditional roles of men... My only thing is if you want and like traditional men, then you have to have and want traditional women.

The decision is on both parties.
What I meant is that in this day and age there is no excuse to pay for a child that isn't yours. There is still the emotional manipulation and other stuff you can't compensate for.
