If it weren't for the American flag scarf that lil' brother is wearing, many looking at that pic alone would assume that there is some type of strife in a third world country.

It might be wise to keep that in mind when seeing pics of other brothers in action/ conflict/ turmoil throughout the world.

Young Black Man at Ferguson Town Hall: "We got the Power, You Don't"

by Frank Vyan Walton

Following a long rambling, condescending speech by a older white gentleman who pretty much explained that "After 16 years as a committe man, I supported African-American candidates..." [You want a cookie to go with that?] and "They come to my home, they come to my Christmas parties" [He wants Mega-Bonus points for letting the Darkies in his house!] and that he too, was - in effect - raised a "poor black child" [yes, just like in "The Jerk"] by a single mother, on food stamps, who wasn't from the country and he truly understood the challenges that others faced. And so on and so forth.

Because, y'know, ain't all Black people on food stamps? And growing up in fatherless broken homes?

In response a young man took the Mic, proclaiming his name was "Mike Brown from Ground Zero" he said, wearing a black "Peacekeeper" t-shirt and proceeded to drop some knowledge and true science.

“It is time for us to get suited and booted and kick their you-know-whats out of office,” he said. “We’ve got the power — they don’t. We’re trying to figure out how this man, that man, the old man — the Man, the Man, the Man up there on his iPad who don’t care what we have to say. How do we get him out? We vote him out! We recall him out!”

“A month ago, a young man was shot down several times, and that’s a fact,” the man said, alluding to a comment by an older, white male who earlier had yelled, “You want facts? I’ll give you facts!”

“His body laid on that pavement for hours, and that’s a fact,” the young man continued. “All the videos, all the nonsense they try to put out there, but the facts are out there — and they’re still hiding behind one white officer. They are letting all this go on for one white officer.”

“But do you know what? We ought to thank them,” he said, “because it’s time for us to kick them out. They don’t care about us, that’s been proven. And they won’t care until we show them that we have the power to vote them out.”

The young man added that the white community has “been thinking for too long, that black people don’t love each other — that me and this brother,” he said, pointing to a fellow attendee, “can’t go out there and peacefully protest for our rights. But guess what? It happened, and it’s not going to stop. If we don’t get justice, young people are going to continue to stand up.”

“We’re not fighting each other anymore, that stuff is dead,” he said. “We’re fighting them, because they’ve been fighting us. And we won’t take it. We’re fired up! We’re fed up! We’re young! We’re strong!”

“So mayor,” he concluded, “you better enjoy that seat, because November is coming up, and you are out!”

I'll try (but it's sort of hard for me to put into words)...

The first set of pics have nothing to do with Ferguson, and each has a separate location & cause from each other (although white supremacist oppression could be considered a root cause).

Same systematic oppression, different regions of the world:

The next set of pics start with the young Ferguson brother and was taken for the photographic record as well as its effect. What you may see is a child realizing that he is at war. Much like the pics below him.

Same systematic oppression, different regions of the world...

Washington Post opinion piece:

Ferguson tragedy becoming a farce

There are embedded links @ source.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...2226ca-3a82-11e4-9c9f-ebb47272e40e_story.html

What happened in Ferguson, Mo., last month was a tragedy. What’s on course to happen there next month will be a farce.

October is when a grand jury is expected to decide whether to indict the white police officer, Darren Wilson, who killed an unarmed black teenager by firing at least six bullets into him. It’s a good bet the grand jurors won’t charge him, because all signs indicate that the St. Louis County prosecutor, Robert McCulloch, doesn’t want them to.

The latest evidence that the fix is in came this week from The Post’s Kimberly Kindy and Carol Leonnig, who discovered that McCulloch’s office has declined so far to recommend any charges to the grand jury. Instead, McCulloch’s prosecutors handling the case are taking the highly unusual course of dumping all evidence on the jurors and leaving them to make sense of it.

McCulloch’s office claims that this is a way to give more authority to the grand jurors, but it looks more like a way to avoid charging Wilson at all — and to use the grand jury as cover for the outrage that will ensue. It is often said that a grand jury will indict a ham sandwich if a prosecutor asks it to. But the opposite is also true. A grand jury is less likely to deliver an indictment — even a much deserved one — if a prosecutor doesn’t ask for it.

One might give McCulloch the benefit of the doubt, if not for his background. His father was a police officer killed in a shootout with a black suspect, and several of his family members are, or were, police officers. His 23-year record on the job reveals scant interest in prosecuting such cases. During his tenure, there have been at least a dozen fatal shootings by police in his jurisdiction (the roughly 90 municipalities in the county other than St. Louis itself), and probably many more than that, but McCulloch’s office has not prosecuted a single police shooting in all those years. At least four times he presented evidence to a grand jury but — wouldn’t you know it? — didn’t get an indictment.

One of the four: A 2000 case in which a grand jury declined to indict two police officers who had shot two unarmed black men 21 times while they sat in their car behind a Jack in the Box fast-food restaurant. It was a botched drug arrest, and one of the two men killed hadn’t even been a suspect. McCulloch at the time said he agreed with the grand jury’s decision, dismissing complaints of the handling of the case by saying the dead men “were bums.” He refused to release surveillance tapes of the shooting. When those tapes were later released as part of a federal probe, it was discovered that, contrary to what police alleged, the car had not moved before the police began shooting.

McCulloch apparently hasn’t learned from that. His spokesman, asked by The Post’s Wesley Lowery about those remarks, said the slain men “should have been described as ‘convicted felons’ rather than ‘bums.’ ”

Lowery gained national attention last month when he was unjustly detained by Ferguson’s out-of-control police while covering the demonstrations. He has since asked McCulloch’s office for a list of cases in which prosecutors pursued charges against a law enforcement official. McCulloch’s office ultimately came up with only one case over 23 years that The Post could verify of the prosecution of a white officer for using inappropriate force against a black victim, and it wasn’t a shooting.

But if McCulloch lacks credibility, he apparently has political clout. This could explain why Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon — like McCulloch, a Democrat — is refusing to appoint a special prosecutor. This could also explain Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill’s statement in support of McCulloch.

Proving a case of excessive force against a police officer is difficult, and I’m not in any position to determine Wilson’s guilt. But that doesn’t justify declining to prosecute such cases. There’s no dispute that Brown ran away after Wilson shot him in a scuffle and that Wilson shot Brown several more times after that. Several witnesses — including those in a newly discovered video showing the immediate aftermath of the shooting — claim that Brown had his hands up in surrender. The alternative account offered by Wilson — Brown charged at him — requires us to believe that the unarmed and wounded man ran away, reconsidered and ran back toward the man pointing a gun at him.

And McCulloch won’t have his prosecutors recommend even involuntary manslaughter? If he persists and if the governor won’t intervene, their behavior will confirm suspicions that justice is rigged.

Ferguson video shows witness raising hands in air

27939faded8e87235f0f6a706700088a.jpg

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Cellphone video that shows a witness raising his hands in the air immediately after the fatal shooting of a black 18-year-old by a white police officer in Ferguson appears to support previous accounts and could bolster arguments that Michael Brown was surrendering when he was shot, legal experts said Friday.

The video obtained by The Associated Press and first aired by CNN shows two landscapers who were working near the street where Brown was shot by officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9. In the video, a man can be heard saying, "He had his (expletive) hands in the air," while one of the workers raises his own hands up.

The man who took the cellphone video, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he feared for his safety, said the voice is that of the worker raising his hands, but that isn't clear on the video.

The workers are not from Ferguson and were employed by a business from Jefferson County, south of St. Louis. They have not come forward publicly and the AP has been unable to reach them.

The comment on the video largely matches those of residents of the apartment complex where the shooting occurred, who said Brown was surrendering when he was killed. The shooting spurred several days of sometimes violent protests in Ferguson. A state grand jury and the Justice Department are investigating, but no decision on whether Wilson will face charges is expected until next month.

Benjamin Crump, the attorney for Brown's family, said both workers came forward and told the family their account of the shooting. He described the video as "of paramount significance."

"Not because they were not residents of Ferguson, and not because the construction workers were Caucasian, but because it is a contemporaneous recording of their immediate actions of what they had just witnessed," Crump said. "It's the best evidence you can have other than a video of the actual shooting itself."

Ed Magee, spokesman for St. Louis County prosecutor Bob McCulloch, said the workers are among witnesses who have been interviewed by authorities and are "part of the investigation."

The video likely would be admissible evidence before the grand jury along with the workers' testimony, said Peter Joy, a professor at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.

"The thing that strikes me is we actually have a film of what's going on and while it's hard to hear the construction workers say what they're saying, you have one construction worker putting his hands up in the air, which appears to be him demonstrating what he's seeing," Joy said.

Lori Lightfoot, an attorney who previously worked as chief administrator for the Chicago Police division that oversaw officer-involved shootings, said the video could be significant but many questions remain: What was the vantage point of the workers? How far away were they from the shooting?

"Given the stakes, it's essential that all of these issues be tied down," she said.

Man, I had to go to WAR on facebook when this video got posted.

I told cats I am going to start calling Europeans "Denials." Them muthaf*ckas here a legitimate grievance about black inequality and they IMMEDIATELY get defensive, get offended, and make it about them. Giving you outliers to match up with examples you have as the norm for black culture.

They ain't neva gon' change, so you have to start changing with your mindset.
YOUNG PEOPLE have always lead the revolution, time the youth replace the energy with new organized and DIRECTED blood and action.

This is shit that has me wiggling my wallet, wondering where I can send some loot to help organize:dance::dance::dance:

I feel you, NINJA!!!

"From #Egypt to #Palestine to #Ferguson, U.S. made tear gas, sold on the Almighty "Free" Market, represses democracy."
BxM_9ygCcAAvnaI.jpg

Yes we all wonder about that buy black and organize. It seems the blacks with money are not that concerned about any of that. But how can we organize if only the blacks with any real money will only take it right back to the enemy as though their ancestors came over here on the mayflower.
It is hard for a real ****** to get some real money. But I will admit Elijah Muhammad did show us the way. Used money to build our own schools, hospitals, houses, apartments, etc. And our own black economy.
Everything you know white people told you or they allowed you to know it. It is the things they kept hid, that must he exposed. We cannot keep building on their ideas, values, visions etc. How can they rape our females and then consider themselves the founding fathers? Whose fathers??
I hope what I am building on will start to materialize soon before it is to late. I gave up my newspaper (THE SOUL PAPER) for various reasons. All I have is the products I sell here where I live and my 2 web sites. One of my web sites is free. And the other I pay a small fee every month. So far nothing has come out of either one.
Where there are no visions the people perish.
