Took the words out of my mouth. It never ceases to amaze me how the same people who get all up-in-arms or misty-eyed when a few cops get murdered (which isn't that frequent), but stick their heads in the sand when cops abuse and murder citizens (which happens far more frequently).
Dude, it ain't just "thugs" cops are abusing and killing and it ain't just in the hood either. Shit, it just ain't minorities either. Cops have been acting a complete fool with white folks as well. I'm not condemning all police, but TOO MANY of them are either insecure bullies who live to powertrip, or are (for all intents and purposes) "thugs" themselves. I know of a cat from NY whose band was playing in LA, and he had cops literally in his face trying to start some shit.
I had two black cops (there ain't that many blacks period in Minneapolis) try to provoke some shit with me near a study spot I frequent. I got out of my car and they were rolling real slow behind me. I played it cool. It wasn't the first time dealing with assholes with badges, and it wasn't the last. I half-turned my head got a good look at them as they were slowly passing me. Both were trying to mean mug and the one in the passenger's side had that "fire" in his eyes like it was something personal. Who knows? Maybe he found out his wife/GF was cheating on him, and he was looking to take it out on someone (cops with relationship issues seem to be a common thing).
Innocent death is innocent death and there is no excuse for it. You can't make up for killing an innocent person by taking criminals off the streets. Only immature, underdeveloped minds believe that. All human lives are equal, no matter what people do. When you take one, you are a MURDERER because dead is dead no matter what you say. There are criminals with badges and fortunately for the public, there are organizations like Internal Affairs to police the police.
America is living proof of a so-called justice system gone wrong. I guess since we jail more people than all of the other major nations, by your logic that just means Americans are bad people in general? Right? That's what you are implying.
Jailing is about money and a license to use a firearm means being responsible, not flying into a paranoid panic like these dumb pigs are doing. They are trying to use the media to lay the groundwork for the argument they are going to present for their future misdeeds. If anything, they are displaying their guilt just by jumping to this conclusion prematurely. There is no "war on cops" but if there were, one would have to ask "what did they do to make people want to go to war with them?" It doesn't come from out of nowhere.

You have "no problem" with a jail system that doesn't work properly? A system that is a revolving door and is just used as a source of revenue instead of rehabilitation? Then don't speak on the system if you are not smart enough to recognize the flaws and acknowledge them. You are also trying to strawman the conversation. We are talking about police paranoia. Many e-militants experiences have helped fueled their dislike for the law. I don't see flaws in the system. People are getting paid who cares? I don't know anyone in jail. So I really don't care who's there. They could round up every kat in the hood and gentrify it Clean up the neighborhood and bring in people who can afford to live there. This is what I hope happens.
You are not smart enough to have an objective conversation, then. You believe the "system" is perfect when its one of the least effective in THE WORLD. There is no talking to you on this.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR TAKING INNOCENT LIVES. ALL MURDERS OF INNOCENTS ARE CRIMINAL ACTS, NO MATTER WHO DOES IT. Criminals on the street have no right to do that. Some of those criminals have badges; some don't. A cop killing an innocent is just as criminal as a citizen who does it.
What you seem to miss is how it is WORSE when a cop does it because that means they "played the system" and dishonored their oath. Its even worse when their "brethren" stand behind their wrongdoings. That means that they are not holding everyone EQUALLY under the law. Without those principles being upheld, THE ENTIRE SYSTEM IS A FAILURE. When people get tired of being fucked over, they revolt. But, that's not what's happening here.

I grew up in the projects.. and live in an area now where there is little to no crime. Ive never been harassed, beaten, kicked, tazed, etc. by the police. However, when I was 19 I did have my car stolen after I put a ton of money into it and the police found it in three days and brought it back to me and put the two dudes that stole it in jail.
Im not going to act like there arent crooked cops. But I think we ALL know that there are more reasonable cops than crooked ones. The bottom line is, regardless of the fact that there are bad ones society would be like the wild wild west without them.

Star QB of the high school football team shot and killed in cold blood by a dude sitting on his front porch at his moms house. Everyone knew who it was but niggas wouldnt say shit because of that dumb ass "no snitching" shit. But guess what, the dude committed two more murders in the same hood because no one would testify against him.
When the police found him, he had a modified ak47 in his car and was on the way to kill yet another person and is now doing life without parole. Is it the police that are the cause of niggas killing each other in the hood? Or are you going to find some sort of way to blame the white man for that?
