Everyone knew which drug dens,card games,bookies were protected by the cops.

I live in a neighborhood now where there is little crime and no gangs.
Yet I still worry for my teen son...and preach to him often,about dealing with the police.
As a young black kid driving,I am sure that will be enough to pull him over.

So I have told him numerous times how to handle himself...

Yep. The system will be going up against very angry people who've lost their minds and have absolutely nothing to lose. I've been reading about incidents of police behaving like armies of occupation for the last 10+ years. Back then, people usually put up with, or made excuses for such bullshit because they still had jobs, a place to live, and creature comforts. Today, many of those same people have either lost those things or are very close to losing them. If my hunch is correct, these recent incidents are only the beginning.
