worked for me but i can't get my screen 2 look like his.....meaning the now screen..it has 2 settings "professional" and "classic"

He has the Professional setting on but he has on display his upcoming appointments. From what i've seen , i was only able 2 display upcoming appointments under the Classic setting..............anybody???

I just installed/tested while driving this using my new Tilt (hands down the best phone on the markey now IMO) and it works flawlessly

For Att Tilt Owners...make that ptt button actually do something:

I found this fix, and it works perfectly. I suggest using a Registry editor like Resco Registry to follow these instructions:

"Worked for me. You have to read the whole post.

For my own purposes as well, here are the consolidated steps to take. Until someone improves on this, I keep all this stuff in a directory so I can reconfigure my device as necessary. Here goes...

I think the trick is the PTT settings take precedence when the device boots up so delete the PTT registry settings under HKLM/Services/PTT. Delete the whole sub tree, then

From HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Keys

Add a new key called "40C6"
Add a string under the key called "Name" with the value "Button 6"

Add a new key called "40C7"
Add a string under this key called "Name" with the value "Button 6 (hold)"

(Note, do not enter the quotes, thare are to delimit what belongs in the registry entry)

Go to the Buttons settings and assign a program to the new entries. I di Voice Dial and Vibra (Switch) from the link earlier in the this post.

Do a soft reset which will remove the PTT settings from the buffer and enable your key changes."

Make you ppc faster:

1. Install NetCF3.5 on your ppc.
2. Open a registry editor, I use Reso Regsitry Editor
3. Goto HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETCompactFramework (this is usually the first entry
4. When you open this you'll see all the .NET installed version change the DWORD value of 2.0.7045.00 from 1 to 0
5. Chang ethe DWORD value of 3.5.7283.00 from 0 to 1.
6. Reboot
7.Viola! you have a faster PPC

And make sure you go into the IMPlus folder on your phone and replace the IMPlus app with the one in the crack folder.

Excellent thread. Tried installing this, but i'm getting a no maps found error. Also, it gave me the option to select a voice , but wouldn't let me test it. What am I doing wrong? A walk-through would be greatly appreciated.
 
I was just gonna ask if anyone tried that tom tom. I thought u needed an actual unit for it to work.

obviously you didnt install the maps correctly or the voices im not gonna 'walk you through' it but I'll point you in the right direction:

Personally I installed tomtom to the my device..not the storage card...but my maps and voices folder resides on my storage card...read the two links I provided and install it the way i did and you will be good to go

Im using Coreplayer now. The latest version. And when i go to youtube on Opera, it brings up the video in coreplayer and plays smoothly. But also, a while backi did install the flashplayer from adobe and it worked, sometimes. but when i went to sites like nba.com, it would give me a message saying i need the latest flashplayer, which i already had.

Are you able to view videos from rude.com, etc?

unfortunatley no but there are other pron sites you do have access to

after you installed the flashvideo bundle there is a shortcut in start-programs called video sites...click on that and you will have access to not only youtube but various flash based video sites...including ones that host movies ...and porn....whic his why I said coreplayer (although its cool) is not the solution....
