Poast your watch

I buy several cheap big face watches to match my several sunglasses for different outfits. (sears or ross or TJ maxx - about $30 per watch)I never wear the same watch 2 days in a row.

anyone heard the wife's tale that a woman shouldn't buy a man a watch cuz when the battery runs our, her time is up?

dont buy a girl a watch cause when it stops working your time is up
don't buy a girl a pair of shoes cause she'll walk right out of your life

Betterman, where did you get these cars and watch pics? I'd like to visit the site.

luxury4play.com

I remember some one was asking about designer watches not to long ago on here...check this out.

I THINK YOU MEAN POST NOT POAST!

:lol::lol::lol::smh::smh::smh::smh::smh: POAST :smh:

Rhymes with Roast..

First we have so many posters calling BS on the 47% of Detroit can't read. Then we get this clown typing "Poast" your watch.

My dumb ass can't spell but I can impress you with my bling.

I am sure glad when I was growing up in NY we had the R.I.F. program.

Wife got me this... Movado Bold.

From a style perspective, you can't go wrong with a Movado, specifically the blackface versions. That joint is tight.
Wear it in good health, as they say.

I've been on a bit of a buying spree recently. Copped another Rolex and my third Ball watch.
Time to pump my brakes, lol.

I have a Movado Sport that I got for my 50th birthday. I've always found it funny that the band smells like cocoa butter. I have about 14 watches in the collection. Outside of the Movado, my Tissots are my faves. My daily watches are my Wengers and my Citizen Eco Drive.

The newer rubber bands smell like vanilla derivatives for a reason. Higher-end watches have begun infusing scents into the rubber so as to mitigate the sweaty odor that ends up on your wrist after a full day of wearing your watch. I have a TechnoMarine diver that has a treated band. It also has a ValJoux 7750 movement, which is why I actually bought it.

Tissots are underrated! Which one ya got? The touchscreen joint? If so, FIRE.

One of the Ball watches I mentioned earlier. It's a World Timer.
Good value, too. Same ETA movements that you'll find in older Rolexes and Breitlings, but at a much lower cost. (especially if you buy direct)

Apologies for the crappy focus job.

I have 2 Classics (one jeweled band, one leather) and the blue limited Carribian Edition. Oh, damn, I forgot one. I also have a brown one with a tach. The box says "Gents PRC 200".

I have that same movement in my Hamilton Jazzmaster Meistro Chrono. Love that "wobble" where you can feel the rotor spinning. Hamilton has since gone to an in-house movement, which probably would have been better from an investment perspective, but I think the 7750 has charm. Any decent watchmaker should be able to work on it and I won't worry (too much) about finding replacement parts in the future. It's also very surprising what other watches use (or have used) the 7750; Breitling, Tag, Omega, Sinn, IWC, Tissot... have all used the movement at one time or another.

too lazy to properly.. poast, but here's a shot from the web. Mine is identical, with the same faux gator leather strap, but I've added a Hamilton signed deployant buckle to get an extra half inch on the strap (8" + wrist)

Love ball watches as a brand too, though I don't own any. Been looking for the right one for a long time. The Cleveland Express (trainmaster) is on my short list.

I'm currently looking at buying a new watch at the end of the year, then will try to go all of 2021 without making a watch purchase. Trying to decide between the Tudor Pelagos and the Omega Planet Ocean.
