jubei's score-----------9.3/10
man-ive been thoroughly listening to this LP(the N.E.R.D. as well-great album) how she isn't touted as the next big thing(ie.the next Lauryn Hill) I don't know----i urge everyone to give this a listen---to me the best way is to start with track 3 (american boy), and let it ride--------she has more styles than a shoalin soldier-------she goes from R&B to Reggae to Rap(the 3 R's) and she does everything splendid..............the only reason this cd is not a 10 is the pacing(that and i hate giving out 10's-nothings perfect) those 1st two tracks are OK but they kill the pace of the CD(pacing is important to me, but not everyone).
Man this has been a good year for music(movies as well), i strongly urge everyone to get this, the N.E.R.D., the COOL KIDS, the KIDZ IN DA HALL, and the G-UNIT(o.k. NOT the entire G-UNIT just the first song only
)............. I know alot of BOGLites are elitists when it come to the view on Hip-Hop...so i'm not going to mention what i consider to be the best LP of the year(so far),
but please if you download nothing from any of my posts or threads, at least get the ESTELLE and the N.E.R.D.
