then you have other games in the middle

and then many failures... like prototype 2 which failed bad and will definitely not have the game industry have black main characters


You see the price of 60 bucks for a game... but don't understand how many ways that 60 has to get split


if game stop had to depend on new games... it would basically be a failed business... they're basically a used game company ... because of the margins... basically none in new games...

I don't give a fuck how many ways it's split. 99% of consumers don't.. All they see is the price, and right now it's too high.. That is why the used game market will continue to flourish..

They are not going to show a price. They are just giving you an idea what to expect. They might not show the system its self.

There is no reason that justifies trying to stop the resell market by tethering games to consoles or selling online passes for each game. Why not just rely on an online subscription for that revenue that covers all games for a time period, much simpler and convenient? Or like someone already said, invoke a buy back program that will legitimately compete against the resellers. Inconveniencing the customer to capture more revenue generated by their games is the absolute wrong way to approach it.

that would be stepping on game stop's turf.....and 60-70 percent of new games are sold through there... and that's half of game stops total biz...


A solution has to be found...the online pass only effects used games ? so they can get a little income ... if you buy it new you don't have to have buy an online pass
